Nickelodeon (ended 2008)
I agree... I am truly beginning to think that people just enjoy making new threads to get their name in the "Arthur" column on the forum.?? What other reason is there??? There is no grand credit or money prize given out for starting a new thread and most certainly no reward in getting bashed over creating a duplicated thread.
Please see the below threads and maybe even ask THOSE thread creators to add your poll if that's why you choose to create this thread.

its an animated children's tv show... people can't move water, fire, air and earth by waving their hands either...

The evidence is pretty damming, we have that whole seen in the teaser where katara is applying that special water to zuko's scar, so something going to happen to that scar??? maybe it will become cancerous. |
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he stops her from healing it.

Well Adia you never know and to me it seems your judging the outcome with just 10 seconds pretty silly eh? Well I personally think they'll do the other??cartoon-clichie and before what ever happens it's interupted. |
I know I'm judging the episode and the whole of season three too soon, but throughout season 2 I noticed big changes in Avatar from??poor-animation to rushed story plots and I wasn't happy with season two because, imho, it seemed to be something a fan would write in a fan fiction not the actual show, and when I saw that trailer I had had enough (even though,??Zutara may not happen, still the creators seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on shipping lately and quite frankly it's annoying). I never thought Zutara was the creators idea and seeing a fan-based relationship happen on the show will ruin it for me(and I'm not talking about just Zutara, the fans seem to be in control now; what the majority wants, the majority gets, it's just disapointing). I might as well just read a fan fic or write my own avatar story. The ideas just aren't as original as they were in season one. I guess I'm just upset (and impatient, I just jump to conclusions because I hate speculating about a million different theories, this way, if it happens it happens, if not, good, I didn't want to see it anyway; I absolutely abhor speculation).

I kinda get you. I never liked Zutara (and not just because I'm a Kataang fan) because it was purly fan made. Book 1 all the way up to about halfwayish thru book 2 has been original and very thought out ideas, with not that many (though still very pleasing) shipping moments. I have to agree with you that the shipping has kind of been blown out of porportion, there's too much, just too much. I think all of this will cool down by the third season, it will get very serious becuase they're invading the fire nation, so wheels and cogs of the ships can cool down, they've been working over time. Its a little disapointing because most of my favorite episodes come from book 2, but the overall greatness of avatar has been going up and down up and down in book 2. Book 1 always met the satisfaction rating, not all of them went above and beyond, but all of them were satidfying, book 2 has extremely great moments, and then some bad ones. |
