There are a lot of threads about Zuko and his scar, so i decided to create a poll about it. Do you think Zuko's scar will be healed?

Sorry, don't mean to be rude, but if you know that there are a bunch of threads (like 100) about this already, then why did you add to the bunch? A poll won't make much difference.

I agree... I am truly beginning to think that people just enjoy making new threads to get their name in the "Arthur" column on the forum.?? What other reason is there??? There is no grand credit or money prize given out for starting a new thread and most certainly no reward in getting bashed over creating a duplicated thread.

Please see the below threads and maybe even ask THOSE thread creators to add your poll if that's why you choose to create this thread.

The evidence is pretty damming, we have that whole seen in the teaser where katara is applying that special water to zuko's scar, so something going to happen to that scar??? maybe it will become cancerous.

Like people have said on other boards, cartoon cliche-ness makes it??almost inevitable. *sigh* this is why I'm starting to lose interest in the show, I mean, come on, it's not even the creators ideas anymore, it's unrealistic and cliche to the last degree. Alright, so I'm exagerating, but this show has gone from amazing to disapointing.

Well Adia you never know and to me it seems your judging the outcome with just 10 seconds pretty silly eh? Well I personally think they'll do the other??cartoon-clichie and before what ever happens it's interupted.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he stops her from healing it.

Knowing Zuko he most likely will but he's pretty soften up for now, anyway so you anti-Zutarians will jump in glee Mike and Bryan at the PXE said "The moment will not be romantic " but according to what I see think of it as Aang's and Zuko's encounter at the North pole turndra where there stuck in the snow in a cave. So anyway Katara and Zuko will just bond a little and see that their a little bit similar in their losses.

thar Scar is Zuko's trademark we wouldn't even know it was him without it.

plus he wears it like a badge of honor...letting some chick heal it would be WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY out of character even if Zuko did turn good

    but Katara would definatly try

Actually Zuko may not want the scar to go away even if he knows what it symbolizes: His Father's expitations and the shame Zuko thinks he has but he really doesn't. The scar is not really there anymore Zuko is honorable and has the qualities that makes the scar not there so I guess his scar is just there.

I know I'm judging the episode and the whole of season three too soon, but throughout season 2 I noticed big changes in Avatar from??poor-animation to rushed story plots and I wasn't happy with season two because, imho, it seemed to be something a fan would write in a fan fiction not the actual show, and when I saw that trailer I had had enough (even though,??Zutara may not happen, still the creators seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on shipping lately and quite frankly it's annoying). I never thought Zutara was the creators idea and seeing a fan-based relationship happen on the show will ruin it for me(and I'm not talking about just Zutara, the fans seem to be in control now; what the majority wants, the majority gets, it's just disapointing). I might as well just read a fan fic or write my own avatar story. The ideas just aren't as original as they were in season one. I guess I'm just upset (and impatient, I just jump to conclusions because I hate speculating about a million different theories, this way, if it happens it happens, if not, good, I didn't want to see it anyway; I absolutely abhor speculation).

Definately. he had a dream that showed him without his scar, and in the preview for the season finale, it showed katara touching zuko's scar and holding the healing stuff oor whatever. that would be cool .

I kinda get you. I never liked Zutara (and not just because I'm a Kataang fan) because it was purly fan made. Book 1 all the way up to about halfwayish thru book 2 has been original and very thought out ideas, with not that many (though still very pleasing) shipping moments. I have to agree with you that the shipping has kind of been blown out of porportion, there's too much, just too much. I think all of this will cool down by the third season, it will get very serious becuase they're invading the fire nation, so wheels and cogs of the ships can cool down, they've been working over time. Its a little disapointing because most of my favorite episodes come from book 2, but the overall greatness of avatar has been going up and down up and down in book 2. Book 1 always met the satisfaction rating, not all of them went above and beyond, but all of them were satidfying, book 2 has extremely great moments, and then some bad ones.
