I dont know if this has been done before, but i think there should be a place where people can discuss their favorite Avatar moment(s) and why.
Mine, personally, is the battle scene in CoD. Everything was so epic and unexpected, i absolutely loved it. I think this was a true turning point for the show: It showed that Aang could be defeated even in the Avatar state, it threw all of our impressions of Zuko out the window (very misleading), it showed that defeating the fire nation would be even more of an impossible task without the Earth Kingdom's support, and it overall was my favorite part of this whole series thus far. (I do love every part of this show though, so picking one moment was hard.)

Forgive me if there is a thread out there like this already, or if this is totally lame, i apologize for being new. I thought it was a good idea.

Hmm... I'd have to say, when Aang rescued Katara from the cave in CoD, and then glares evilly at Zuko, which Zuko returns. lol.

Hard to say, but i think it's a tie between:
Sokka getting high
Zuko's betrayal in CoD [at first i hated that, but after seeing how that was so human, how it was so in character, how anyone would have done the same, i just loved it]
Zuko's speech in DOBS [Zuko reflecting lighting counts in that]
Ty Lee showing her "traits" on The Beach
And lastly, Toph and Katara mud wrestling in The Runaway.

Probably when Zuko confronts Ozai and tells him he's joining the Avatar. The lightning was awesome! But what I really can't wait for is when Aang confronts Ozai. He's finally going to be using fire

That's the thing about Avatar: Every season will always blow you away.

Season 1: Fortuneteller (Sokka's Mishaps and Aang's little laid back attempt was ownage)

That whole war thing on Northern Air Temple (My fav. episode from the whole season)

Aang owning the firenation on the season finale (BIG FISH!!!)

Season 2:

Cave Of Two Lovers: (nothing beats those guys singing and a little Kaatang)

The Blind Kick-Ass Bandit: Though I lol'd when Aang totally defeated her with one air stroke, she owned it!! You deserved better than what your overpowering parents were doing..

The whole Toph and Katara interactions..loved those (I'M COMPLETELY CALM)

The Desert: (The most memorable Sokka moment ever.)

No moment floored quite like Toph's lil Earthbender domination in "The Blind Bandit". Only moment that came close was the first Zuko vs. Zhao fight.
