    ...When your boy/girlfriend gets you jealous by saying they're seeing an Avatar character and you get jealous, even though you know they're fictional.

    You start making multiple threads trying to convince others of how much a character sucks and that people shouldn't think so highly of them. I've done this with Katara... I'm not alone out there when it comes to this.

    Actually, those were two different. One was making one jealous, the other one was getting jealous.

    It's an opinion. phoenixfirework wants the characters of AtLA to cite flaws in Katara's personality. Why? Beats me; it sounds counterproductive, since all Sokka, Katara, and Aang (and now Toph) have are each other. However, Sokka already has; he's called her a "wet blanket" and an "optimist" ("same thing basically" as a liar). Katara has acknowledged that she got competitive with Aang when she first taught him waterbending. Aang has been forgiving of her when she needed to be forgiven. Katara got impatient with Toph, and Toph responded. No character has really had occasion to point out that Katara doesn't "think on her feet" (doesn't experience extemporaneous insight) much (something Jet exploited, though).

    No one has shouted at Katara about her flaws, that's why. And I could explain why I don't like Katara to Khahril but people would start bombing me with complaints so I won't... nevermind, I'll make it brief. I've made the mistake of calling her a Mary Sue yet I have pointed out her flaws. But these flaws have never been yelled out to her on the show as has been done to all the other characters, I'm just saying. Don't yell at me, others hate Katara too. Please continue witht his topics first intention and not yell at me cause I'm tired of it, hence I will stop trying to turn everyone against Katara. (For now).

    1. You have made a replica of Zuko's Blue Spirit mask, which occupies a place of honor in your room, and is constantly shown to family, friends, and random people on the street.

    2. You have made Avatar easter eggs, delighted in smashing the Azula one, and cried when the Zuko one got all rotten and smelly. (Bonus points if you never really threw it away)

    3. You **attempted** to make those fried Aang pastries shown in "Avatar Day" and nearly destroyed your kitchen.
