No I'm joking, I actually liked the ending even though I was a huge Zutara shipper. But I found it kind of odd at the end when everyone was in the tea shop. Everyone looked so peaceful but the shouldn't they be stressed? After a war ends there has to be lots of people who didn't want it to end: uprising from the fire nation who wanted complete domination and distrust from Earth kingdom and the Water tribe. I just found it kind of unrealistic that everything would run that smoothly after announcing the end of the 100 year war.

Quite true, and I thought that, myself, when I saw that. But I suppose, being it's "for the kiddies," so to speak, a bit of long awaited and well deserved reprieve was in order to bestow upon all of them, so that had been done. Plus, I'm sure the show didn't want it to end on anything but a happy, "fluffy" note.

I suppose we'll have to leave those details you pointed out to the fanfics (and I'm resoundingly positive someone will eventually do just that). ^_^

there's a lot of dark intense moments in this series... it's not really "for the kiddies"

The rest of the FN population were very clueless about what was goin on, they did lie to the people though. So instead of being furious they were probably confused.

It was the worst ending when I saw MAI coming back to ZUKO. My heart just feel there and I had to scream...I was SO fustrated. I mean Zutara was the best thing to happen. They could have been so cute together.

I'm not too surprised when I saw that the end of the war went smoothly. I think the Fire Nation feared Ozai and Azula, so when they were both defeated, it's expected that everyone would be relieved that the war ended after 100 long years.

I think that because of Azula banishing-spree that the Fire Nation people begun the question the sanity of there rulers. The Earth kingdom and water tribe were just happy that it end.

No, Aang worked his butt off to win the war. He deserved to get the girl he loved.

not to mention 100 years ago the people that actually attacked are dead. so, if anything it was people brought up as kids so they had no knowledge on it, but in end you have to realize its a cartoon. and they had to jam pack everythin in it at once.

a happy ending makes me think "Finaly, after all they've been through, now they can be happy." A sad ending makes me think "Wow, that sucked."
