    Hmm...didn't think about that. It's very likely. Bumi IS an earthbending master...and he's over 100 years old. That would make a lot of sense!

    Oh I knew he'd be back after "Return to Omashu." You don't leave a subplot like that hang out, not tied off.

    Well the last time we saw him he was held captive. Before the end they wanted to show that Bumi is alive and ok. I don't think they wanted to leave too many loose ends.

    Maybe those war blimps will blow up his cabbages. Seriously, they had to be aiming at something important and what could be more important than a healthy helping of fiber? Without it the enemys' colons would be so clogged not even Mario could unclog them.

    Aside from that, all I have left to add is that Sokka wasn't wearing his warrior gear, meaning Boom-Boom shows up before the fight.
