Why Sozin staterd the War Theroy

    I know there was something about this war than just world conquest... This is about revenge!


    In my throry Chin The Great or Conqueor(Combination of Napolean and Genghis Khan) Might have done what Napolean tried to do to Great Britian, I think he had sent a navy to try and conquer on the Darkest Day??it but failed. Then theres the water Tribe that could have been a Water Nation

    Sozin decided to make them pay for that and gain much land.

    Like Hittler used propoganda to influnce people in Germany.

    dats a good theory but im not sure bout it. i think some people are just??messed up??in the head and are just bent on world domination. or maybe sozin just wants to be remembered in fire nation history like Zhao (Siege of the north, kept talking bout it, Zhao da great, zhao da moonslayer, zhao the invincible - sound familiar??), so if the fire nation ends up winning da war, all the credit will go to sozin cause he started it and sozin might be praised as the best and most powerful firelord in the history and line of all the firelords.

    Ya I saw in one of these threads the Earth Kingdom is seperated, and Chin only tried to unite (like Qin (pronounced Chin) of China did), but ended up failing. I think Sozin and the rest of the Fire Nation Royal Family is just power hungry.

    Interesting theroy. I dont excatly agee with it but still well thought out though

    Well who knows he had a bit of Napolean in him he might have done more. Remember Gengis Khan and Kubla Khan tried to conquer Japan and failed twise

    About Chin the Conqurer, that can't be correct. He lived in Kyoshi's time and was killed by her. Sozin was Fire Lord a hundred years ago, when Aang lived at the Southern Air Temple. Chin lived two Avatars (roughly two hundred to three hundred?) years before Sozin.
