I think that there are 2 types or Zutarains. The Zutaraians who like the idea of Zutara, and the Zutarians who think that is the ship that is mostly likely to happen. I just want to see the ratio between the 2

i voted for the first option, but for the record, i do think it'll happen. i don't ship based on what i think will happen. i ship based on what i think should happen. i just think zutara's a better ending and it fits the overall story much better than kataang does. that's just my opinion, though.

i think he/she/it means that as long as katara isnt forced into anything and she genuinely makes the decision on her own then he/she/it will be happy oh and i ship kataang all the way but if she ends up with someone else i'll be ticked for 2 and 1/2 weeks but then i'll get over it....maybe...ahaha

true i think if they either dont conclude the shipping wars with an epilogue style or just ultimate shipping scenes im going to drive down to burbank and burn down nick studios since the finale is a week after my sweet 16 and burbank is only like 2 hours from here i will be able to get there...*ponders attack* *makes list of mob supplies*

I am one of those in the camp of "I like the idea of it but don't think it will happen". I was never one to look at the waterbending scroll ep and think they were destined to be together (not that there's anything wrong with that if that's how you roll).
I think that Zutara has (had, whatever) the makings of an awesome relationship. When I first started liking the idea I thought maybe that was how Zuko would change from bad to good. I am glad that Bryke didn't do that and that Zuko came to that conclusion on his own. I do like the whole "opposites attract/hate turns to love" kind of stories-think along the lines of Princess Leah and Han Solo or that couple in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (forgive me for not knowing their names). And I don't give a darn if this makes me shallow, I think they look super-hot together.
I don't have huge issues with Kataang; there are things about their relationship that I like. I don't have a problem with Maiko (now). I just don't like them as well as Zutara. No matter what happens in the show, it will not change my preference. I seriously doubt that Zutara will happen, but it's still my fave ship.

Ok well I think zutara can have so much tension and I LOVE TENSION
i got into zutara after the fortuneteller cuz I was omg zuko = powerful bender??!!???
And the symbolism is endless and like she can heal him and everything
and itd b cool if she was like the Fire Lady even tho shes a waterbender I really like that idea

Aang also = powerful bender, you know being the Avatar and what not. Have you not seen the symbolism for Kataang, and I for some reason I can't see Katara as the Fire Lady, but you never know.

there is almost no chance of zutara happening..but most people ship zutata since it is very unexpected and will make a twist in the plot and a good plot is all any Zutarian asks for...
