Never get tired of hearing that. I'm just??honestly surprised they decided not to do anything for the Kyoshi Warriors. I mean, ornate??green??armor and makeup, war fans and katanas, retractable fan wrist shields, they're practically wearing a "gimma a friggin??toy deal" shirt.??Marketing strategy people.

I don't think Mattel is really into making weapons. I could see the fans though. But if you want stuff like that your best bet is online, or your local China Town.

That is bull. Seems like Sokka isn't the only one who has to get over his sexism.??Why are they only making action figures of the male characters? This kind of thing gets me really annoyed, and I'm not even into action figures!
I guess it could be worse...they could bring out a Katara or Suki or someone doll where you can apply makeup or put them in pretty dresses. This show isn't about damsels in distress. On this show, the girls are as strong, if not stronger than the boys. Come on Mattel, sort it out.

I think I had more fun with Barbie when her head popped off once, and I started having her go,

Head,"Where's my body, where's my body???"
Body," (although I have to wonder how this is possible) Where's my head? Where's MY HEAD!?!?!?!"

I hated Barbie then (grew up in the late 1980s/90s), and I still do now. I ha more fun with matchbox cars then Barbie, if I recall right. Does that mean anything?

Let's just say I have a multitude of Barbie dolls in search [or in need] of a head. I think that speaks volumes.

Ok i'm a 14 year-old boy and i still love action figures! And i get both the??male and female characters. And i really hate how a lot of toy companies don't make the girl figures??in various shows. I live in Pakistan and there are really crappy action figures here. I always look forward to going to the US each year and getting action figures. You guys have awesome and a 1000x better??figures, but i get really annoyed when i find out that different sets only have male characters. Like Power Rangers or Avatar! Its so sexist!!! Even sets like Marvel Legends only have one female in each series!I was really happy when i saw female teen titans and justice leaguers, but those are just a few!

    I hope i wasn't being too rude.No offence everyone.....I love AMERICA!!!! ( was born there y'know)!!

Yeah well you probably won't get anywhere with whoever you send a letter too. Sadly Nick still lives in a world where Avatar is only watched by boys ages 6-11. Forget the girls, teenagers, college students and parents who watch the show. All older people are good for is money, they think.

In fact, I have seen many times the President of Nickelodeon flat out SAYING it's all about money and selling stuff for a kids show. So it's not about making shows for the kids to watch, it's about selling them on merchandise!

Though I'm straying from my point. If you want female action figures, get a petition started, and plaster on all Avatar message boards. Here, DH, ASN, Airbender.net, DF, etc. And if you can get more than like 1 million signatures maybe they'll do something about it. They'll only produce something if they KNOW lots of people will buy it and it's a worthy investment for them.

Welcome to the grim, cold world of marketing. You are completely right. Which is all the more reason why Nick has underestimated?? their audience because it is not just boys 9-14. It's adults who will buy Avatar merchandise for their kids left and right as well as the DVDs and T-shirts??for themselves.

That's almost disturbing. What I don't get is, if they love to sell their merchandise, why don't they make Avatar bedspreads, school supplies, more clothing,??FEMALE action figures, anything? Avatar is clearly a goldmine for Nick, you'd think they'd be merchandising the crap out of it. Right???

They do that for SpongeBob so why not Avatar? You are exactly right.
