I do respect your point, and understand it, still I think this theory has enough evidence, I'd love to continue arguing about it with anyone who disagrees . I like to get second opinions on my theories, makes it fun.

I also am happy that some of u did agree with it, and I hope that it is proven further in the show.

I get all my theories watching re-runs saphire, i tape every episode that comes on, then watch them closely, and create theories. (Feels like idiot, just discovered youtube). Btw, though I am not a Kataanger by any means, I do like your sig a lot saphire.

How do you make a sig? I have my pictures and words set up, but i dunno how. Thanks all, but I dont want my sig question to take us off topic.

I do wonder how long, when frozen (if my theory is correct), the past Avatars would want Aang to be frozen. They couldn't know when he would be discovered. And....

The kept him alive by him going into the avatar state the whole time, saving him. That is why he didnt remember how long he was in there.

i guess so, better than having friends gather around a computer. Thanks hoshie, Ill keep working on a sig, I have three ideas. But anyway, on the note of the theory, I wanna thank everyone who's posted, and am glad that I've gotten complements for it (only 6 times before I figured it out ). I will continue to post many theories, and read and write here daily. I would love to hear your arguments if you disagree, MovieMaster and Mcr, however, why then, in the storm, did Aang get saved, not frozen in a near death experience, why in the Avatar Returns was he not frozen? In that storm he was, and everything in the avatar state is for a reason, the past avatars knew what was happening, they saved Aang by freezing him, it was the defence mechanism.

Don't get me wrong, you have a good point Sifu, its just I'd like more proof before I believe a theory.

this is as mch proof as i could find, I truly believe that it is true, all of it makes sence, and the storm was kinda, I think, also meant to show that.

It is true, that u shouldnt believe anything without full evidence, but this has a lot towards it. I consider it to be enough proof, but i think more will be revieled also in the show.

Btw, what are the ships involving members? I dont quite understand them.

    lol...

SD made a thread for claiming avatar characters, and then people put together their names or usernames with the avatar character that they claimed to make a ship.

EX) Suhaila (my real name) x Zuko (the character I claimed) = Zukaila!

OK, hey wtg getting Zuko, I would love to have Ty Lee or Yue (I know SD has Ty Lee though) Ill just stick to shipping Ty Lokka (sorry George shippers). But back on topic, I wonder if the past encarnation planned on Aang being found right before the summer solstice, or if they expected him to be found earlier. That is, if my theory is correct (which I feel has enough evidence pointing towards it to probably be true)

Not that I'm discounting the destiny argument, but what about the fact that when Aang created the air pocket that put him and Appa in suspended animation, the water was much colder because it was nearer to the South Pole? Whereas during "The Storm", the temperature of the water was probably too warm to freeze.

I was reading my History book the other day and I saw something about Pope's day. The name reminded me of Avatar Day. As I read on it became more evident that they were connected. Pope's day was the same thing as Avatar day but instead they were scorning the Pope for his failed attemp on killing the King of England and tearing apart Parliament. I am not sure what time period this happened though. I wouldn't have made the correlation if it was not for the thing I read about Wa Shi Tongs library. It is supposed to be the Avatars version of Washington library, used by congress, with something like 530 miles of shelves in it. Anyways, thats just something for you all to think about.

It's weird i was thinking the same thing when i first watch "The Storm" , but after watching more episodes maybe the Avatar Sprit isn't perfect maybe it didn't mean for Aang to be frozen for 100 years

Can't we just say the writers willed it that way and leave it with that? I'm serious you got to not over analyses these things.

I think this deserved anylizing, I am happy my theory has been anylized. I agree, the spirits didnt probably want Aang to be frozen for that long, they probably wanted him to defeat the much weaker fire lord, Azulon. The water temperature is a good point, but they wouldnt want him frozen, he was near the south pole in The Avatar Returns, and didnt freeze himself. I garuntee that they wouldnt want him frozen again, the war might end, plus, waterbenders can create ice, and freeze things anyway, Katara can do it, so of cource Aang could in when in the avatar state.
