    I pick Aang because he's the Avatar and has to be the strongest and can bend the 4 elements.

    well aang has easily the most potential, and i'm not just talking about the avatar state. he learns things really quickly, and i think if he devoted a couple weeks to nonstop training he'd catch up to katara and maybe even toph.

    i would easily say aang becuz he is the avatar but no doubt that the non-aang most powerful bender is easily azula! i hate the idea of it but she is!

    Aang is the most powerful bender, simply because of the avatar state and because he can bend 4 elements.

    After that it would have to be Azula, which is upsetting because she isn't my favorite character.

    Azula will be the most powerful if you put Aang aside. But Toph is relly powerful too.

    Yeah! I vote Zuko! You can say Iroh, Aang, or Azula are strongers than him, but non of them had to pass throug all those problems as him, besides, he is strongest physically than all the others but Bumi, i think (toph and katara then are weakier than him, besides im completly sure he didn't fight at his 100% in the crossroads of destiny, and since he is not still a master, we know he'll be stronger than now, but toph katara and Azula, since they are alredy masters are not gonna get stronger, just as all other characters but Zuko and Aang.. honestly, I think you shouldn't put aang in here, he's the Avatar...

    Ozai is a coward! while soldiers and his kids are fighting, while peopple is dying, he is comfortbly sitted in his war room, I think Iroh is strongest than him. Pakku? Bumi? no way1 they are too old! And non of them are able to mix a weapon technique with bending, like Zuko. aang is able but just to run away, to escape...

    if aang would learn how to fight and not defend himself he'd be the strongest easily. Zuko may be strong, but I think Iroh would defeat Zuko in hand of hand combat. I voted Iroh cause he's a sick fighter, and also a really really powerful bender (lightning, fire breath)

    I bet bumi would mop the floor with zuko's insolent @$$. As would Iroh and Toph and Pakku and Azula and Jeong Jeong(You forgot him!). But anyways, Toph is the bestest!

    iroh owns every ones he see (if he wants too) however i think bumi is better then iroh but it will make a great match both men havn't shown their full power

    The most powerful person would have to be Roku. He's a fully realized avatar, that had his whole lifetime to master all 4 elements, also he can probably control the avatar state. I'm surprised no one has mentioned him.

    Based on your view of strenght, next to Iroh would be Katara in my opinion.?? That's cuz she's the one holding the gang together.

    However, in terms of strenght meaning skill in fighting or basically the ability to beat the crap outta someone, i'd say its Toph who's the strongest, followed very closely by Bumi.

    Everyone keeps saying that Bumi never really showed his full strenght, but the same can be said about Toph.?? Remember her advice to Aang when training him to become an earthbender, "Never use your full strenght in an attack".

    Or something like that.?? In other words, while we've seen how awsome toph is right now, the fact is that we've yet to see her use her full power!?? Also, its official:?? Toph is currently, the FIRST and ONLY metal bender in Avatar.?? If you don't belive me, just go to nick toons under avatar.?? I forgot exactly where, but there was a thread that gave the link.
