Anyone ever think his wife ended up being Zuko though? Or is that just my fantasy again?

thats true. avatar abridged series does a perfect job in explaining that. i can see it happening, iroh married lo, cheated on her for Li. then Iroh began his affair with Ursa. No one to this day knows Lu Ten's REAL mom, as he had...well...y'know what im saying...with all 3 of them. its possible. iroh is happy in life and free of worry because he has accomplished everything, and I mean...EVERYTHING.

no you dont need a wife...but you do need a woman. but yeah, it looks like she died somehow early on, which made Lu Ten's death probably even harder on Iroh. poor guy.
