    The thing about Aang dying is, it would be terrible storytelling.

    If Aang dies, then all of the episodes where we see Aang training, practising and becoming a master bender and fully realised Avatar will be for nothing. It's like the entire series would be pointless.

    Anyway, on the subject of who will die; I had a relevent post about this on another topic.

    Let's see if it kills this thread as effectively as it did that one.

    Hakoda: Mortally wounded in a botched attempt to rescue the other water tribe and earth kingdom soldiers. Dies in Katara's arms when she's unable to heal him.

    Sokka: Cut down in battle by a random fire blast from a fire nation soldier. Toph, insane with grief, goes on an earth-bending rampage, collapsing most of the Fire Lord's palace, killing herself and most of the palace's garrison in the process.

    Suki commits ritual suicide to be with Sokka but unfortunately has to contend with Toph and Yue in the afterlife.

    Zuko is finally reunited with his mother - right before Azula slips from the shadows and puts a knife in her back. Azula, now completely insane, blows herself up, taking Zuko with her.

    Ozai, in the final battle with Aang, kills Appa and Momo with a single massive fire blast. Aang, insane with grief and rage at the death of his animal and human friends goes Avatar state and turns Ozai into a grease spot. Mai, when she hears about Zuko's death, opens up her wrists in her prison cell. Ty Lee, hearing about Azula and Mai's deaths, hangs herself with her own hair braid.

    gets reincarnated in a baby .....

    The baby is raised by a happy couple, none other than Zuko and Katara.

    The Fire Nation loses, they hold a giant orgy in the Fire Lords Palace, writhed in ecstacy and exhausted in sweat, covered in battle wounds, drenched in urine, blood, alcohol, and "other bodily fluids", they hold a battle royale to the death and all but Haru and his stache survive...

    Well, by looking at the last episode that they aired, it looks like Zuko and Aang.

    It really depends though, I heard from someone that they were continueing the series with different characters. (I'm not sure if that's true or not) So if they are doing that, wouldn't they have to kill Aang?
