azulas more powerful then ozai who ever said that has not watched very many avatar episodes to say the least or the person was blinded by ozais powerful lighting lol. or maybe who ever said that is just plane dumb.

I'd say Doc from "The Painted Lady" is the most powerful vendor. Doc has the widest assortment of goods, from two-headed fish to clams. He'd totally kick the cabbage vendor's ass.

if azula was more powerful then fire lord ozai then she kick is royal butt off the throne and take it for her self. azula respects ozai the reason is because he is a more powerful ender then she is thats the only reason.

Let's just pretend Aang isn't in the picture, because the avatar wins the number one spot by default. So now that we are dealing with the "normal" benders:

1. Iroh-Top notch bending with the ability to come up with new hybrid techniques. Mix in an enormous amount of military and combat experience, and the highest level of wisdom on the show and you have a force to be reckoned with. He knows when to fight, when to use diplomacy, and when to drink tea.

2. Katara-Besides Aang, her bending has shown the most improvement of anyone in the entire show. She's gone from a real novice who could hardly even catch a fish with her talents to a master. Let's face it folks, Aang was making more waterbending progress than her till they both found a master. Then she outprogressed the Avatar himself to become his new master. And now she has the most powerful 1 vs 1 ability in the show, Blood Bending.

3. Toph-Just like Katara she continues to evolve her bending, coming up with some new cool trick almost any time they get in a bind. It was tough to stick the Blind Bandit at number 3, but I gave Katara the edge simply because of the trump card...Blood Bending.

The firelord doesn't impress me, blowing his load on Zuko so early. I think he will go down similar to Jhao when Aang taunted him into burning down all his ships. Azula has hardly progressed at all, the only new thing coming from her being her little jetpack technique. She's powerful, don't get me wrong, but she isn't as smart as she thinks she is. And Zuko...still needs something. I'll leave it at that.

Ozai is the best Firebender. This is an undisputable fact.

The best waterbender is probably Pakku.

As for earthbending I'd say Toph.

Airbending is Aang (duh).

exactly there a reason the avatar is supost to fight ozai and not azula and thats because ozai is much stronger then azula. and iroh is very wise and intelligent but his power does not equate up to ozai or iroh would of kicked ozai butt after burning zuko. this just common sense

I'm not sure where everyone is getting the idea that ozai is so much more powerful than Iroh. Did we forget Iroh was tested by the dragons and passed? Did we forget he broke out of prison without even the use of firebending? Have we forgotten that before his son died he was the undisputed power house of the fire nation?
Can someone cite one example in the show of Ozai's emmense power? Just because he's the firelord doesn't mean squat, Iroh is the true firelord right now.
Iroh not attacking Ozai after he burned Zuko has nothing to do with Iroh being scared of Ozai and everything to do with it being the customs of his people to obey the firelord. He has pretended to be a jolly old man who cares about nothing waiting for Zuko to go down this path that only ZUKO can go down.
edit: To sum up my post, Iroh would wipe the floor with anyone else in this show that can bend fire.

Fire Lord Ozai is a very powerful Firebender, with only Iroh rivaling him. He has been seen burning his own son's face while taking a casual, relaxed, stroll during their Agni Kai. In the episode "The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse", Ozai quickly generates the most powerful lightning attack seen so far without having to slowly move his arms in a circular direction (he instead moves both arms quickly in a circular direction, performing the same movements, just much faster) and sustaining it, something no other Firebender known to produce lightning has done.

iroh is an extremely powerful firebender but hes just not quite as powerful as ozai unfortunately

His one great move which was promptly sent right back in his face. And wiki anything isn't canon, it's opinion. I agree Ozai is powerful, but it's really just speculation if we get down to it. We really haven't seen his 'stuff' yet.

Oh, and the reason I said Iroh didn't use firebending to escape is because (correct me if I'm wrong) he escaped during the eclipse.
