    ???? It was a bit of an emotional roller coaster. First it seemed like things might be looking up. Aang was going to master the Avatar State, Sokka was gonna see his father, and the Earth King was on their side and was going to plan an attack. Sure Toph had been kidnapped and Azula was in the city, but surely Toph would get out of it and Katara would figure out Azula and fix it. Okay so maybe things weren't that good, but they certainly seemed like they could be resolved. Then there was the was the confusion??of "happy Zukko", that is, it freaked me out. Then everything went downhill to the point where it seemed like there was no hope.

    Yeah, Azula should've died....It broke the 'seasonal villain' rules!!! They die at the end of the season!!!!!! But Azula is STILL HERE!!!!!

    After the show ended, I was literally speechless. I just kinda went " WTF?!?!"....I mean, plot twists are good...But that was a bit much!!!

    And can we find anything besides Star Wars to comapre it too?? As much as I love S.W., it's getting a bit old...

    That's exactly how I felt. I so wasn't expecting??what happened.??

    Thats what I thought too. I was so shocked when Azula hit Aang down and I was like "Aang dies = No more Avatars!!!" This was not like Siege of the North, when everything was good and the gang's road could go anywhere. This time the good guys lost and they don't always win. People have to accept that. Now there are so many things that have to be answered, and I personally thought it was an awesome schocking way to end Season 2, and an awesome cliffhanger.

    But it's a [beep]-ing KIDS SHOW!!! In kids shows, good ALWAYS wins!!! It's practically a rule!!! Bad guys aren't allowed to win!!

    I didn't really feel drained...the thing I got was more of a "Zuko is a stupid idiot for leaving Uncle Iroh, the person who's been with him through thick and thin, and side with Azula, his biotchy, deceitful sister" emotion.

    Well, someone compared it to Harry Potter - but that was shot down for good reasons.

    For anything else... the Inheritance Trilogy? You know.. Eragon and Eldest? I won't say any more just in case some people are reading them right now and don't know the twists. oO;;

    Yeah, I don't see Harry Potter in it either...the Inheritance Trilogy sort of mirrors Star Wars anyway...so I guess they're both valid.

    You like the formulamatic "seasonal villain" thing? I for one like it when they mix it up and keep surprising us. To have Azula die would have been too close to Zhao's deat h in the s1 finale. But that was a huge twist with Azula knocking Aang out, and I for one see her as one of the greatest villains of all-time. She just...manipulates everyone else and is so damn powerful. It's unbelievable.

    I saw...**Drumroll and suspenceful music** AVATAR!!!! Honestly, there were loads of comparative moments, but they are seperate things. One guy said it was like Naruto ((I'm not even gonna ask...)) and another said something about Pokemon...These people are crazy....

    I felt kind of depressed after seeing the finale. It was so beautiful and sad. I was sort of in shock after watching it. This finale needs an award or something, it was that good. It had the material worthy of a TV movie or theatrical movie.

    I just turned off my tv for about a minute and just sat in the dark, wiping away the tears. All my emotions just went down the drain. It was the weirdest feeling ever! Incredible move on the writers part, well done gentlemen. Right when we're all "ZOMG Zuko is like totally joining Aang, duh sillies!" we get knocked on the head with him completely betraying everyone and going with Azula. When Aang got into the Avatar state, I was thinking "Oh yea! Kick ass Aang!" and then BOOM we see him get shot with lightining and start to fall, just left me speechless...

    ??Ain't that the truth. The show with the most amount of "complete spins" moments.

    Are people all that shocked that it ended on such a bad note? Look at any long and epic story, there is always a super WTF moment around the end of the second act that makes you wonder if the heroes have any chance at all of completing their quest.

    Its like that with Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Matrix, Back to the Future...okay maybe not the last one but you get the idea.

    FMA is the best anime ever made. Very depressing stuff, but also very uplifting too. It has a cathartic effect. This was nice. This was really nice. You think Avatar has a shot of ending up better than FMA? After this episode, Avatar just jumped a rung.

    I agree. I just sat there and stared at the credits, trying to figure out what'd just happened....I mean, we all thought it'd be at least a bit like last finale, with everybody all happy and a few depressing parts but...That was 'Evil vampires suck out your soul' depressing!! And like two-three good things....
