I guess I was confused because of this:

Flutterlight I think I love you. Seriously made me laugh my ass off, almost peed myself. You're other responses to this ill-supported opinion have been brilliant as well.
As to you carcrash I assume you don't know what its like to have a parent who doesn't love you. Most people respond to this lack of approval and affection by doing whatever they can to earn it. And if you have experienced not having a parent love you and have been "strong" enough to brush it off well then I say good for you, but most people have too much emotional depth to react so callously. Also I find your concepts of good vs. evil quite childish. And I do mean that in the least insulting way possible. None of the characters in the Avatar universe acted with the motivation of committing an evil act. They did what they did because they thought it was the right thing to do. And they thought this because they were raised to think that way. Zuko is one of only a handful of characters who act in contradiction to they way they are taught to act. So if you think he is weak for committing a few "evil" acts then by your own definition Azula and the firelord are much weaker characters. And from the firelords perspective Aang is quite weak as he for the most part only does as the monks taught him to do. As for the way Zuko treated Iroh, I honestly doubt there has never been someone in your own life that you have under-appreciated. The concept of reality is quite subjective so lets not go there. Why do you think he is a "bad guy"? I think you are lacking in forgiveness. Iroh did or at least would have him and Aang forgave him so who are you to hold his actions against him? I don't remember Zuko ever telling Katara to blood bend but even if he did it would have for a good cause so thatargumentdoesn't really make sense. Then again your whole "I only want Zuko haters posting here" in one post and then " I want other opinions" in anotherpostdoesn't really make sense either. If a character was pathetic and sucked simply because a better character existed out in the universe 99.99% of all characters would be pathetic... I don't think any of us who have defended Zuko are trying to excuse his behavior we are simply stating the reasons and motivations behind it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you consider Zuko weak for being emotionally distressed for a good portion of the series. Again I can't help but find your opinion childish. How does feeling emotion equate to being weak? If after the agni kai with his father Zuko had said "Ohwell, my dad doesn't love me. Screw him." He as a character would probably be less believable and less relatable.
