I mean the FN murdered Katara's mom, and even though it wasn't Zuko, he is still the fire nation's son, and when he had the chance of forgiveness he ruined it by joining Azula.     Then I guess the creators of the show wants Katara to be a man whore... I mean if someone killed my mom and I was as close to her as Katara was, and they told me that thier uncle or something did it, I wouldn't forgive them.

    from hounting them down, threatening her and betraying her and
    then still step into the love boat with him. Come on .. be realistic. the Only possible way i see Zuko and Katara
    together again is as just friends, nothing more; nothing less

    I agree...everyone likes Jet but he was....annoying....
    Zuko takes his sweet-ass time to dwell and contemplate everything, people think this is "uber character development." Aang is short and sweet and I think he is right for Katara...
    Your lucky, it killed me to say "I think." And I want to keep a good disscusion going, so sorry if I seem annoying. It seems this board has become nothing but random squabbles with people being called "meanie!" and continental breakfast all stuck in the middle.

    Okay Katara did forgive jet but she didn't trust or forgive him till he was in pain and was about to die... Jet was going to kill a town for peace... the main word is peace he had good intentions. Zuko is pure evil. He betrayed Katara and Aang in their time of need. Yes- when I first saw the commercial for TCOD I thought Zutara was going to happen. It still could if Katara ever forgives him. Think logically about you. What is you were Katara and you thought Zuko was going to change and then he betrays you=backstaber.Then joins another person to help them=Backstabber#2. Then helps someone try to kill your friend-possible crush-=heart breaker. Dont think about Zutara think about how it would make you feel.

    A little extreme there, but yeah you have a point. Zuko has technically betrayed her double time. With the whole "I thought you had changed!!!" thing you can just tell she doesn't like him there...

    a)i still doubt zuko's genuinely on azula's side, for obvious reasons.

    b)no one's saying she's not angry at him. but again, she was angry at jet too, and a false betrayal is easier to figive than a genuine one.

    c)we are NOT in katara's situation, we can NOT claim to know what we would do in her situation, and even if we could it would be moot because we are NOT katara.

    d)*munches avatar muffin* but alas, the war continues. better fought with munchies than munitions, though. ^_^
