Which side will Zuko take???

    As we all know from the previous episode Zuko??was convinced by his Uncle??to give up being the Blue Spirit. Now which side will Zuko take? Is he likely to help Aang and the group or does his heart still lie with the Fire Nation?

    I think Zuko will join Aang since Chapter 20 is called, "The Crossroads of Destiny". I think that means Aang and Zuko's destiny's will cross.

    Well lets be realistic for a moment shall we, this is nickelodeon, so they are gonna probably be preaching about friendship, so even though it wouldn't make for a good story in my opinion. So in light of that, I say zuko will join Aang cause it nick here.

    I think Zuko will choose his own side...which may actually be like choosing Aang's side...but for the record let me say again: I'm 100% against Zuko joining Aang's Squad. I like the two seperate(but parallel) stories Zuko and Aang have, and buddying them up would take that away.

    i wish catoon network aired this. nickelodeon's audience is getting older but still young. i dont think of this as a childrens show, but is on NICK.

    I have only become about 98% recently convinced that Zuko would join because of all the plot directions, character development, and heavy hints and foreshadows. Awhile back Zuko's character was just one I couldn't see getting along with the Aang Gang. Now... seesh, I think the majority would be shocked if DIDN'T happen.

    As I said in another topic, Zuko's parting with his Fire Nation ties (the Blue Spirit) will probably trigger his "spiritual crisis" in the next episode, which will ultimately lead to him crossing Aang's path and joining the gaang.

    Naw I get what you're saying. Ever since the Blue Spirit I always had a feelign Zuko would eventually join them...

    They've only been hinting at Zuko joining the Gaang since...FOREVER. ((In "The Chase" where they all fought together;??in "The Blue Spirit" at the end, you can tell that Aang's talk about "If we weren't??in a war, would we be friends" or whatever affected him;??In "Lake Laogai", Iroh is fussing at him to "do the right thing".....The list goes on for a while...))

    But also, it'd be gradual. We won't turn on the tv and Zuko is standing in the middle of their camp or anything. But it WILL happen!!

    Ugh, I would die if he ever actually joined the gaang. They just wouldn't get along, plus Sokka would never trust him. So I think he'll just be on his own side, maybe helping Aang when he needs it. (The summary for "The Failure" says "With the help of a surprising ally, the gang is freed from Long Feng's prison...") Like a vigilante! heh.

I believe that Iroh will convience Zuko to help the avatar defete the fire kingdom so that Zuko can become ruler of the fire nation...

    Seriously though, I agree that while Zuko won't join the GAang (even though some part of me still thinks he will) altogether, he'll probably still help them when needed. Or if he joins them it won't be now because he has other isssues he needs to get through for himself right now.

    Like I've said before, it'll be a slow change. One of those "So-Slow-You-Don't-Notice-Till-It-Starts-Screaming-At-You" changes, maybe. But I firmly belive he'll join eventually!!! And I agree, Iroh'd probably be one of those "I-Will-Draw-Out-My-Death-With-An-Hour-Long-Speech" kind of deaths...But he probably wouldn't say that.
