I have NEVER been able to decide out of Fire or Water... They are both amazing.

With Fire, you can create, control and manipulate ordinary fire (yellow/orange/red), blue fire, basically ALL colours imaginable can be seen with Firebending (as demonstarted by the Dragons in "The Firebending Masters"). They can create and manipulate lightning/electricity, and if you were powerful enough, then you could control and manipulate lava and magma... And when Sozin's Comet comes, they have the power and pure abilities of 100 suns, that is simply awesome...

With Water, you can control water, ice (snow and frost aswell), steam (clouds, fog and mist aswell)... But it doesn't stop there, you could also control plants... By plants, they also control: grass, flowers, bushes and trees and just about all other types of plants in the world aswell, but then there is Blood-Bending which is as cool and badass as this show can get... And you could create tidal-waves and tsunami's aswell as surf or maybe even run on Water...
