which bending is best!

    I think it's pretty clear that airbending is the best. Bar none. I mean the evidence is undisputable......

    The best is fire! the most useful!! If you are cold, you have your fire, if you need a light, you hav eyour fire, is you need to kick somebody's ass, you've got your fire, even if you wanna cook, or your tea is cold, and you don't need external sources, as water and earth bending. If you are cold, is the water, the air or the earth gonna help you?, nope. And you are in the darkness, are those element going to be usefull, nah!and if you need to kick asses, well, all elementes are useful, not the air, it is just useful to run like a chiken... but if you are trapped in a cell, and you are not blind, or there's no water, and you still wanna kick asses, ? FIRE! yay!

    Ok, every possible bending technique has a counter, except One airbending technique.

    You know what it is? SUFFOCATING VOID! An airbender can just bend air form his opponent's lungs, or away from his mouth/nose.
    There's no counter for that. Therfore airbending rules!!

    Do you see how fast bumi tunneled? It was like swimming. It didn't take any time at all. Or Toph Who was juming out of the ground like a kid in a box of packing peanuts.

    I think it would really be more of air pressure then pulling air away. Since a gas always wants to fill its area, and sucking it out in a open area would be very hard. So if Aang could compress air around the person he could in theory crush them under the weight of air.

    Or they could create a dome of rock to block the flow of air and then bend from inside the dome.

    there all really good:
    fire you can just pwn like iroh,
    earth you can just pwn like bumi(who could kick toph's ass),
    air you can make hurricanes, tornado's and crazy stuf like that,
    and water you can bend the water in people to make them do what ever you want them to do.
    BUT, the best in all of the avatar world is.................................... TY LEE!!! she can automaticly kick ass. she could dodge ANYTHING, and have you paralyzed in 2 seconds flat.

    Airbenders could suck the air out of your lungs, but a Waterbender could also make your head explode??from the inside out alla Scar from FMA. Or an Earthbender could launch a tiny pebble at bullet speed and go right through you(the Dai Li already showed that ability). And we all know what Firebenders can do, but I still stand by what's in my sig
