where does momo come from actually?

    when aang en katara&sokka where at the soutern air temple in the 3rth episode of book 1, they found momo.

    aang said that maki's lived at air tempels and that they where pets for the air nomads...

    but the air nomads are away, so why was momo there?

    and where there actually other maki's?

    Maybe there is more flying lemurs somewhere, but Momo was left behind.

    well momo founded a time machine of a man from the future who died there so momo went 100 years in the future and founded aang,

    ya i still think there more lemurs

    There are only 7 Momos left in the wild.

    Thus Lord Oazi instituted the Momo protection act. No longer will people hunt them for their ears. ( Which make a killer soup).

    Aang's Momo was bred in captivity, but escaped from the Sizzler just before he became a killer soup.

    Maybe two lemurs survived, and loved each other very much and.................................................................................................................................... Resulting in Momo's birth. Lets see, 100 years ago, they waited 50 years, OMG! Momo is 49 years old!
