I'd recommend Hellsing: Ultimate, but is very violent, and the fights are absolutely brutal.

Pretty much everyone in the show can regenerate from everything, so they're constantly shooting and stabbing eachother, and once the fights start, you will never see anything in pretty much 90% of all anime "impressive" when it comes to characters being powerful. They're not "DBZ" powerful though, they're just crazy.

    It's awesome.

I'd say the Thursday night NBC block (before the summer schedule).

Scrubs, 30 Rock, The Office, and My Name is Earl. Granted Scrubs ended, but.. It's still an awesome show.

And for teh animu, I like FLCL, Azumanga Daioh, and Cowbot Bebop. I think there might be others I like, but some are ecchi, so..

Aw, hell; Beat to Death Angel Dokuro-chan (can't remember the Japanese name), House Keeping Hamster Ebichu (again, can't remember the real title).

Note; Ecchi is raunchy, or pervy comedies, so I'd use extreme caution when watching them if you do. They border on Hentai.

    OBJECTION!

Scrubs has yet to end! it will air the final eight season on ABC in early 2009!
    Honor, i rest my case.

Read the "Codex Alera" series by Jim Butcher. It has element bending in it... no joke.

In all seriouness though here at two choices:

    1. Watch Thundercats (I loved this show!), Gantz, Elfen Lied, Berserk, Gundam Wing (yea all mainstream )

    2. Go outside and watch the real world play out

Or watch violent beheading videos, honestly though I'd rather watch the weather channel or paid programming

I recommend watching FLCL (aka Fooly Cooly or Furi Curi)I'm currently hooked on a Japanese show called Chojin Sentai (Birdman Squadron): Jetman. Although I guess that's not going to help, since you'd have to understand Japanese to know what's going on.

Read The Giver, or you can read Farenhei 451, The Lord of the Flies, and Julius Ceasar and help me with my summer homework.
