I'd be a waterbender because then I could make it rain or snow all the time and I love rain and snow.

I would rather bend air... The reason is because, You can fly, You can Blow any attacks on you away, And heck, You might be able to blow water, fire, and rocks around anyways..

I think I would bend water, because I like swimming and it's really cool how they move the water. Of course, I would'nt mind earth, fire, or air either.

Order that I would most likely bend (based on my personality):

    1. Fire
    2. Earth
    3. Water
    4. Air

    I think that's the order. I'm sure about 1 and 2 but not 3 and 4.

Heck, I'll be the avatar! If I just had to choose one, I'd pick air, cause you can move around earth, water, and fire around with air, just not as strongly. It should be obvious why it is even more significant that the airbenders are gone, and that the current avatar is an airbender. Despite Zhau's speech, air is definately the superior element.

I would control earth because I prefer an even balance between offence and defence.

Who says we have to limit ourselves to just those four elements of nature? I can think of several other elements in the universe that would be more fun to bend than fire, earth, water, or air. However, they all fall into the astro-physics area.

Light Bending: Imagine being able to focus light waves in such a way that you could create laser beams, a powerful flash that could temporarily blind your opponent, or bending the light around you to become invisible. Think about it.

Plasma Bending: Plasma, a super-heated gas in which the atoms have been stripped of their electrons and become positively charged ions. Use it in conjunction with fire bending and you could literally control the same energy mechanism that powers the sun and create plasma blasts which would be hundreds of times hotter than fire.

Space-time Bending: Space-time, a detectable field that extends throughout the entire universe. All celestial bodies with enough mass are able to warp this property of space in such a way that the result is a gravitational field. Imagine being able to bend space so the bender can create a worm-hole for instantaneous travel from one point on the planet to another or to deflect an attack, generate powerful gravitational wells to immobilise an enemy, warp space in front and behind to create a quantum bubble and move faster than light.

Please shoot me if I sound like I'm from another planet or another dimention.

    WATER WATER WATER

Earthbending's okay and Airbending's pretty cool but water rules!! (I would only want to Firebend if I could bend lightning)

i see no reason to shoot you. those seem intersting, it would be cool to bend light, i like your ideas...they are very well thought out

That's a tough question.. I don't want to bend Earth, so that leaves me with 3 choices...

Water? Sounds cool, but it would be pointless to me.

Air? It would be very cool to fly, but it's not that powerful unless you are the Avatar...

So that leaves me with Firebending! ^__^

considering all the arguments here i still have my heart focused on the very powerful firebending style.

    Then Earth, Water, Air

maybe all 4 eventually making me a true powerful/stong avatar which will leave the firelord in tears after i am through making me king of all the 4 elements

    Avatar Tyler signing out.

You bring up a very interesting conjecture. If we are able to bend other elements beside the basic four, then I would totally bend time!! That's right, TIME!!! I could freeze it and go into the past or the future!! I could take over the world! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    - you and every other little kid who ever dreamed or thought about taking over the world either by force or by controling time it self becoming a great and powerful thief by just walking in a bank and going right for the safe with no one know you were there.-go through time and steal the worlds most prized posessions and then ransom to the highest bidder. thats it my wish of life.

Let me ask everyone a question.

What stops a windstorm on land (tornado) or on water (hurricane) at any point in time?

    Answer is nothing!!!!!!

    1. Air
    2. Water (used as secondary bending for >>HEALING
