Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

What will you do about the DVD? Buy it or wait?

Buying the DVD or waiting until Avatar airs in the US?

I would buy the dvd even though I dont have a dvd player. It broke. I'll give it to my friend for their b-day, which is the day after it is released. It's never too late to turn someone into an Avatar fan. i would watch it on youtube or veoh or livevideo i guess.

    That is so beautiful.

Wouldn't it be more beautifull if he got the 1ste season box set instead of a late 3rd season dvd?
Atleast then he can really follow the story instead of being dropped right in the post black sun episodes.

I'm renting it. no point in paying full price when all I want is two episodes. Actually, I won't be paying anything at all, since I have a 1 free rental coupon. *guards coupon*

Dont you guys realize that they are testing the success of the show by only airing it on DVD? We have to buy them if only for the show itself and Mike and Bryan. Watching it on youtube will do nothing for the Avatar. Plus it will be taken down with in a day. There is no excuse for not buying the dvd unless your a hobo living in a card board box. Its only like 12 bucks at Walmart. I think we can all make the sacrifice. Its one DVD, you dont have to buy all the others.

Considering I already bought the season 3 volume 1 DVD, there's no point in holding out for the box set now. I want my rock to boil, dagnabbit! Watching it online is just so annoying.

I agree, people are making it seem like the DVD is going to cost a fortune. I'm sure it will average around 15-18 bucks which is definitely low enough to save in the two weeks till it's released. Lisa gave some good adivce for the different age groups in how to get the money to buy the DVD on May 6th. I'd like to think everyone's here because they're devoted fans to Avatar and is willing to spend a measly 15 dollars for it, but what we see now are people that just don't appreciate the show enough to spend a little money on it.

    We have an accord.

This is EXACTLY my point as well.

No, we don't love Nick for doing this, but we do ADORE Mike and Bryan and what they have made.

And it's more important now than ever.

Nickelodeon is testing us. Is it right? No. No one here is arguing that and supporting Nickelodeon, o.k.?

All we are saying is please look beyond that and think about the show, Mike and Bryan and their future success with Avatar.

thank you for the support. I forgot about our fellow avatards over seas. I would totally watch it on youtube also. Go for it, but check the site every few hours. We've seen how quickly they take Avatar down. But Americans, you have no excuse. Sure the economy kinda sucks right now but we are known for our persuasion skills. If you cant afford it, convince your parents that you deserve it. (even if you don't)
