What was the point of Jin?

    If she was just going to be a one-shot character? I mean she didn't show her face at all during LL.

    No one knew of the extent of Suki's importance when she popped up??either...but she played a big role in the show...whether Jin will do something similar with Zuko??is up in the air...but me I think she will return...

    Sokka left Kyoshi Island, but Zuko still in Ba Sing Se, she shouldn't jsut disappear like that. Maybe she'll appear in "The Earth King", since I got a feeling that Zuko is officially done with looking for the Avatar.

    Saying there was no point to Jin is like saying there's no point to any of the one time characters, they're there just because the writers need to move the story along, not because they have some super huge importance to the show.

    I think Jin was only there so Zuko could go on a date with someone. There were all these crazy fan girls harrassing the creators for a Zuko relationship so they gave them one even if it only lasted about...how long was it? 5 minutes. She did seem like a pointless character, but hey who knows, maybe we'll see her again, just not right away, I mean Suki was a one time character in the first season but she came back (even though, in my humble opinion Suki was a much more important character). Maybe Jin was like the incarnation of Zuko fangirls or something. She's just there to maybe shut the fan girls up for a while, or perhaps to give them a more reality-based ship.

    Know this...something will bring Zuko back into the Fire Nation...if Zuko just stayed in Ba Sing Se while the Squad is heading into the Fire Nation, imagine how boring that would get? the Squad is fighting though the jungle of the Fire Nation while Zuko sweeps the floor at Iroh's tea shop...Zuko will for some reason want to or have to go back to the Fire Nation...perhaps...to save someone...

    I hate it when people state knowledge everyone knows. Zuko of course will leave Ba Sing Se by the season finale, one way or another. I'm wodnering why, while Zuko is in Ba Sing Se, is she just going to disappear. I'm hoping we'll see her "The Earth King" though.

    shes got to come back, zuko liked her too much, besides theres always some kind of forbidden romance in season finales, i.e. sokka????yue. plus people arent garunteed to be in every episode even the title character (avatar aang) didnt appear once in Zuko Alone

    Zuko has felt for a long time that his father thinks he is worthless.?? He was not able to see very well that his Uncle cares for him more than his father ever will.?? However I think she was a bit of a wake up call to him. She showed him that there really is love out there and it doesn't necessarily have to come from an abusive parent.?? The fact that Zuko kissed back should tell us something.??

    That episode did nothing to move the plot it was just a filler and i suspect it was not the main authour who wrote each of those. the only thing that matterd in that episose was momo so a foot print of appas

    They brought her to make everyone realize what a terrible idea it is to bring on Mary-Sues. And to make anyone who thinks Zuko should end up with anyone else gag!

    I don't think character development should count as filler. Filler is more pointless quest, like The Great Divide (what happened to those guys in Ba Sing Se anyway? can't see the fancy tribe living in the lower ring).

    I would like it if Jin came back, even if it were to say goodbye to Zuko. But I'm fully aware she may not at all.
    Funny, as much as I liked the pairing I had the feeling that if it continued Jin would be injured or die (causing Zuko to finally rebel).

    who knows.?? She might show up to say goodbye to Zuko, sorry, Lee when he leaves for the upper ring.?? If Azula breaks into the city like some people are predicting, she might see this and use it against her brother.?? Personally I have no idea if Azula gets in or not.

    I had a reason for mentioning Zuko leaving Ba Sing Se for some reason...especially in a thread about Jin...

Ozai's angels somehow come to know about Zuko liking Jin, abduct her and take her to the Fire Nation,with the intention of capturing him in the FN and handing him??to Ozai.Zuko follows them,finds??out Aang gang is heading to FN,too and??decides to join them.Together they find Jin and ultimately defeat the Fire Lord????

    I guess Song will be abducted too. And that little kid in Zuko Alone. Slowly but surely everyone Zuko has ever met will become an instant hit with the writers! C'mone guys, seriously! Stop living in a fantasy world! If Jin does return it will be for another 5 minutes at most. Zuko and Iroh are now in the upper ring of Ba Sing Se too, remember?!
    You guys are nuts in my opinion to think that Jin was anything more than a time filler!

    I am in love with that idea. I?? aslo read in a paper that they plan to bring her back. ( i know it?? it be all lies).
