I just started watching Airbender friday Night with "The Boiling Rock part 1" but what got me stuck and won me over as a huge fan of this show was AZULA she is so Sick at what she does and the fight with Zuko in "The Boiling Rock part 2" was awesome. It made me wanna watch more and as much as i was waiting for Aang to fight the Fire Lord i loved the Zuko and Azula fight Intense, Powerful, Suspensful and Emotional it had me in the edge of my bed lol.

Ozai vs. Aang was EXTREMELY well animated and looked beautiful, but I much preferred the Zuko/Azula battle. There was so much more emotion in that fight...plus, as good as the Aang/Ozai fight looked, it was basically a game of tag. The first half of the fight was just Aang running from Ozai and trying to survive, the second half was Ozai running from Avatar State Aang. So Zuko vs. Azula for me |

I have to say that I loved the Zuko/Azula/Katara Agni Kai. The music, the fighting, what happned, everything, was just so well done that it easily beats the CoD battle as the best of the series. Not only did Azula manage to overcome her insanity long enough to figure out how to beat Zuko again (I have to admit it, I was cheering for Azula), I also loved how the fight ended. It was the ultimate irony: after 2 seasons of defeating opponents more powerful than herself by outsmarting them, Azula was defeated through trickery, as well as her own overconfidence (I claim victory for my original "Azula's fatal weakness" theory).
But I also loved the Aang/Ozai fight, not so much for the fight, which was basically Ozai pwning Aang until Aang figured out how to pwn Ozai, but for the sheer, utter, symbology of it. Aang, defending the Earth Kingdom against the same kind of attack that he failed to stop a century before, Ozai, the symbol of the death and destruction that charcterized the war, Aang refusing to fight fire with fire (metaphorically speaking), instaed choosing not to continue the senseless killing with another death, but to decisively end the killing, once and for all.
And for whoever said it before, I hate to say it, but ATLA pwns DBZ just as surely as Aang pwned Ozai (totally).
Zuko vs. Azula, Zuko vs Ozai, Aang vs Ozai, Katara vs Azula, and Toph as Melon Lord vs the gaang.
Definitely Zuko/Azula and Azula/Katara.
I was so scared the Zuko was going... to y'know.
All hail Katara's water-healing powers!
Simply Amazing.

*agree*
I still must say, for symbolism type things, Zuko vs Ozai still wins me over, for sheer fighting, aang vs ozai no question...
Now most of you are all like "it was a game of tag" That's true, there was a lot of running around, but that was the first time the entire series where aang was actually fighting to hurt his opponent (before the avatar state). Yes, he redirected lightning away from ozai, but in the few moments when he actually was offensive (waterfall part, and where he shot that massive air blast thing at Ozai while he was still normal) aang had never fought to hurt before, that was what I had personally been waiting for.
And of course the avatar state finally did it's justice, sure it could have been a little more dominating and a little less precise, but the machine gun rocks... the slamming together of the pillars, damn it was sick
