What the Story behind Momo.

    Every since Momo came on the scene, they've been hinting that Momo is more than he seems. For one, Momo too seems to be the last Lemur at least at the Southern Air Temple, yet the Air Nomad been killed off and the temple's been destoyed for a 100 year. How long do Lemurs live? Where did momo come from and how did he survive for a hundred years or where are his parents, siblings, and family? Every eposide that hints to something grand, great, or secret they give a close up of Momo. What's that about? For example when Aang was to go to the Southern Air Temple to find a guide I thought they were talking about someone other than Momo but, Momo was the only one there! Also the Quote about Momo knowing alot of Jings? There a couple more hints I just can't remember the episodes. If you find them post it and the hints you got. We got to solve this mystery! This is more to Momo than he seems!

    first of all... Momo is not the "last lemur". Throughout the episodes others have made comments about seeing lemurs at a zoo (I forget which episode this one was in) to calling him by the name of lemur (i.e. pirates - hope your lemur has 9 lives). And because lemurs fly (or ride the winds), we can assume that Momo simply found his way to the Southern Air Temple on his journeys.

    ..still..flying lemurs were inhabitants of air temples..even if momo came to the southern air temple..that would mean he came from another air temple anyways..and if im correct, all the air temples were attacked by the fire nation...

    and if people in today's time did not know what a lemur was, the statement that he was the last one would seem correct... HOWEVER, the pirates knew what a lemur was and in the episode 'THE SWAMP' (I remembered which one it was now) Tho and Due discuss seeing lemurs at a circus or zoo SO obviously there were also lemurs in captivity, not just the air temples

    I remember someone once had a theory going that Momo was actually a spirit...wonder where that thread disappeared to?

    Momo could have a mysterious background. People could know what he is because they've seen pictures of lemurs. Take Appa for example. People know what he is (without Aang telling them). ??I'm not intirely sure, but I really think Momo has a significant part in ATLA.
