OMG!!!!!! IT'S GYATSO!!!!! this definatly hints towards Gyatso playing a big role in the show (bigger than just flashbacks)....and it looks like a younger him....maybe we'll see him sometime in the series???

i think it's just a disorted image. i dont think it's Gyatso. i still think it's Aang. i mean, look at it closely, Gyatso wore robes, and those certainly arent robes. it's mroe like the clothges Airbender children wear

Maybe it's a descendant of Gyatso.

    About Zhao-Iroh thing:

First off, we've established that Ozai already thinks of Zuko as a failure. I don't think news could have possibly travelled from the North Pole to the Fire Nation in just a day. Although, we don't know how much time has passed. We don't know if they were in the Fire Nation. They could've been somewhere a lot closer to the North Pole.

The only other way Ozai could declare Iroh a traitor would be from the Avatar Roku episode. Iroh did help Zuko get into and out of the Fire Nation borders and he played a hand in the whole 'smokescreen' thing. Maybe Iroh was supposed to arrest Zuko for entering the Fire Nation because it doesn't sound like Iroh himself is banished. Though I don't know why it would've taken so long for the news to get to Ozai. Maybe it was the priests who told him and he just didn't hear them out until then.

    Intro Theme People:

Anyone remember the preview they had on Nick before the show started? The earthbender guy looks like that earthbending kid from it. And they also showed Pakku.

Frankly, I think it looks half-way... could be either. Yes, it does look like the guy has a moustache (and personally I am leaning towards Gyatso) but who know what Aang will look like when he's an adult? He doesn't have robes, but he also has a bigger cloak and long pants unlike Aang.

You know, it COULD be just some prototype airbender-dude who isn't anybody. Or maybe it was an earlier version of Gyatso.

I've been wondering whether or not anything in the preview would be in the show itself, because almost all of it wasn't. That earthbending kid looked a little goofy, but it could be the earthbender in the beginning. They have similar hairstyles. I don't think it was the Pakku we know who was in the preview though. He had different hair and there was some strange ice palace behind him. Maybe it was an earlier verwion of him?

That could also be. I just wish this preview could have been more like movie trailers where almost all of it is in the movie, just without the special effects, etc.

I'm posting in the future, and here's what I can tell you cavemen:

In episode 206, The Blind Bandit,??we're introduced to Aang's to be earthbending teacher, Toph. They origanally planned Toph, a girl, to be a man and that is what she would've looked like.

Zhao doesn't appear in the first half of season 2, but Azula is in fact now a major character, and her team including pessimistic, bored with life, ninja-star throwing Mai and perky, pressure point poking Ty-lee are trying to hunt down Aang

Zuko/Iroh are on the run from the Fire Nation, as wanted bandits, and from the Earth Kingdom, and are still trying to complete secret??missions.

Ba-Sing-Sei may soon fall, as the Gaang and the FN are nearing the city, and the FN has a secret weapon, aka the drill.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward a younger Gyatso, not Aang.

No, no, NO. The creators were NOT short-sighted enough to think they could add an adult to the Gaang! Can you imagine that? Three kids travelling with an adult? (unless it's Iroh, which I can kind of picture) It would be WAY too oppressive, it'd never work, and the creators would never be naive enough to think it would.

I think that they thought about Toph being a boy but changed it because there were to many main charecters that were males.

I thought it was the boulder, and that's what it used to say in the Blind Bandit guide. Go there, it now says that the earthbender is Toph, somewhere in the ntoes section. Pooldude told me in another thread, he laughed at me for being behind and saying it was the boulder.
