    the swamp tribe.

because, i know there are not that much water benders there but the swamp is mysterious and it will be pretty hard to conqueor.

it will be impossible for any nation to take over the swamp tribe.

No. The Arctic is basically completely ice. You're thinking of places like Canada. Since the Water Tribes and their habitat seems to resemble places like Antarctica, we can safely assume that it is all frozen ice.
yes i realize on EARTH the arctic is all ice but in the avatar universe the arctic has some rocks under the ice. if you need an example the cave aang and zuko hid in and the grass in the spirit oasis was growing on earth

I'm just saying that the Water Tribe's habitat is very similar to Antarctica.

Yes your right. Earth benders could also use their powers to raise land masses, islands, continents etc. underneath vast oceans thus "legally" expanding its territories. And they don't have to worry about global warming. If the North and south poles melt then they could just raise the continent to counter the rising ocean level.

    lol good point

What's more, Earth Benders could make underground cities, mazes, labyrinths, etc. which are very inaccessible to invaders such as the Fire Nation. So ruling the Earth Kingdom is the wisest choice.

*facepalm* well seeing that Antarctica is a continent yes it does have rocks. it also has mountains. the thing it doesn't have is vegetation growing on the land

The average thicknesss of Antarctic surface ice is 1.6 km. I would be impressed if an earthbender could bend earth buried under one mile of ice.

Neither Toph nor Bumi could access earth through ice that is a mile thick. I doubt Toph would walk on ice in the first place. In episode 2-12 (The Serpent's Pass) when Toph walked on ice she was completely blind.

very good point, you have got me their, but if you remember my original intent was to in form her that Antarctica has rock under the ice BTW correct me if im wrong, but dosen't some of the ice melt off of the mountains during "summer" and rock is exposed until it is covered up again later in the year?

You are correct. At any given time, roughly 99% of Antarctica is covered in ice. However, some of the Transarctic Mountain peaks are exposed and form what is called a "nunatak." A nunatak is an outcrop of rock where one of the taller parts of the Transantarctic Mountains peek up through the ice sheet.

Well, I am partially wrong. Congrat, Bunibender. The Northern Water Tribe is sick, btw. It's insanely awesome. I don't even remember what I picked, ahahahaha.

I would rule the Earth Kingdom. The city of ba Sing Se seems to be the biggest in their world, and i like the color green better than red. XD

OH! I picked the Earth Kingdom. It's because I like the fact that the Earth Kingdom "is proud and strong. These people can endure anything, as long as they have hope." Or something along those lines. I like the idea of strong willed people.

Of the selection avaliable I'd pick Water Tribe; North Pole. Bt I'd porobably choose those wandering nomads from Cave of Two Lovers. The seemed the most fun.
