    I just read that the man that does the voice of the uncle died over the weekend.?? Are they going to kill that character off, or just find another person with a similar voice???

    I think they are just going to kill the character now. No one want another voice to our beloved Iroh!

    Not really. If, sadly, Iroh dies then Zuko could just join with Aang with out having to worry about his uncle being captured by the evil fire nation. Before he died lots of people already belived that Iroh would die.

    Who says that just cause Mako has died (rest in peace Mako) that Iroh will die. No direspect meant, but Nick can always find a similar voice actor. No one can replace Mako, but they can't kill Iroh off, not such a beloved character.

    They can't if it isn't originally written in the story, because they then would need to change it all and they would be all messed up, and remmeber that it only affects ppl eho watches avatar in english because in other places of the world, that has avatar in other lenguage(like me), has another "Iroh" so that doesn't afect us(even thought I watch the episodes on youtube because the show is more developed, I watch all season 2 in english)

    One thing they could do is take recordings of his voice from previous episodes of Avatar or other work he has done and edit that.?? I have heard of it being done before but i can't remember for what.?? It would just mean Iroh couldn't say anything that they didn't have a recording for already.

    This thread is from wat back in 2006 just after we found out Iroh's voice actor died, so I doubt we need to worry about them killing him off.
