Well, I'm pretty sure they're not going to deliver Toph to her parents in a metal box. They're gonna have to let her out sometime, and it would make sense that that place is gonna be near earth, considering they're both earthbenders also...But, if it doesn't work out and Toph is still captured, the writers are getting a little mental in the head.

Oh right, she conviently got captured just before the end of the season by the plot de- Earthbender guys.

I think it would be kind of interesting if the gang ended separated on the season finale. So next season instead of having the gang and Zuko's stories we would have Zuko/Katara story, Aand/Sokka story and Toph's Story. Then after a few episodes they could reunite. But i really think it's pointless to separate the gang just to reunite them right on the next episode.

Toph is too powerful for the Finale. Maybe it's a device to cripple the team until the very last second.

I don't want the separation to last that long though. I want to see them regroup soon. But I guess it was time for a change. If Toph dies, I would be so sad. I mean she wouldn't really be on the show that long.

I can't picture them building her character that much just to drop her at the end of the season.
either she will somehow escape, or someone from the Gaang will go out and rescue her.

I'm 99.9% sure Jet is dead, that last .1 is because I know the creators could possibly cave in to some fans or corporate executives who don't like death in a cartoon

Suki I'm putting at 50%, Azula isn't the merciful kind and she has already gotten what she needs from the Kyoshi warriors. But she is also someone who wouldn't throw away a possible tool for later, she could still use a captive Suki as a barganing chip somehow.

Suki can't be a bargaining chip. To her tribe she means nothing. She would be great incentive for the Avatar, but Azula doesn't know that and doesn't seem like the "interrogate everyone" type. To her, she's just a girl in a dress.

Toph HAS to come back, maybe not in the season finale,bu t SOMETIME in season 3. cuz i love toph.I think that some one will rescue Toph in the season finale(sokka) then he will find out suki is dead because he would recognize that the "kyoshi warriors" (Azula, Mai and Ty Lee) voices and find out it isn't suki and they will somehow tell him , or he will find out somehow, that suki is dead. Then when katara and zuko are trapped in the cave and aang is looking for her,sokka will spend time with toph and start to fall in love with her.That's what i think will happen to toph. could happen

I know that Toph is brave enough to find her way out. I know she will.

Given the circumstane of everything happen, I haven't got a clue what might happen to her.?? We already know that Toph can kick both her capturer's butts if she gets out of the metal box but that's the thing: Toph getting out.?? As it's already been pointed out: no one knows she's been captured so it really depends on who finds out first (and more importantly, HOW) or if Toph can find a way to get free herself.

I didn't believe for 1 second that letter was from her mother.
