What if the staple of??an Airbending master??wasn't tatoos but to get cornrows or dreadlocks? |
LOL Nice.
Don't get so violent.
What if Jet hadn't been a slight whack-job?

This is a really intriguing theory. Afterall the airbenders are the most like Buddhist monks and they do believe in reincarnation. In the flashback??scenes where Aang tells his story about how he came to learn he was??the Avatar the elder monks explain to him??that his play toys were actually avatar relics and because he had chosen them??on some level they were familiar because??he??knew he was the new avatar. This method??of indentifying reincarnations of Buddhist holy men/women or lamas (not the??animal) is still??in use??today in real life. As His Holiness??the 13th Dalai Lama was identified by a set of prayer beads he had in a previous incarnation when he was only 3 years old. He reached for them and said "Those are??mine!." Because of Monk Gyasto's great love for Aang and because of the way they were separated without even being able to say good-bye, it would only make sense for him to wish to return and wait for??Aang but in a different form.

What if Zuko joined the Freedom Fighters and Jet didn't find out they were Firebenders? |
That would have made for an interesting turn of events for sure.
