    What if Aang had successfully told Katara of his feelings for her the very FIRST time he tried to bring it up? (in 'The Fortuneteller' episode)

    I dream that...ugh...I CAN'T! It actually seemed at that time that Katara didn't really care. But since it's past "Cave of the Two Lovers" and the season 2 finale, it would THEN be really possible for me to think

    What if Aang had stayed with the Guru and had??opened the last chakra of detachment??BEFORE??returning to Ba Sing Se?

    That was one of my first "What if?"'s, lol.

    Then Katara might've had more time to heal Zuko's scar and Aang would've mastered the Avatar State. Then Zutara would've had the victory in the finale.

    The story, I admit, is compicated to follow, since this is a Sci-Fi we're talking about (THE best Sci-Fi!) and they have aliens, droids, ships, laser guns, lightsabers, the force, OH MAN, I WANT TO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!!

    Ha! Now I kinda want to watch it to! But I have question: Why did Anakin turn to the dark side?

    And to stay on track: What if the Guru was actually evil and had planned on killing Aang when he had gone into the Avatar state?

    You're welcome. And what the_mental_teen said. It is complicated. I didn't get it at first, either (cuz I didn't know the old and new ones were connected). But then I watched the entire thing and voila! I loved it!
