What I think the Order of the White Lotus is for...

    The Order of the White Lotus is a group made to overthrow the FN king, Ozai. They're always undermining the FN's rule. The only reason why they haven't struck yet is because they need the Avatar. I read on Wikipedia that there was an actual society in China called The White Lotus that was seen as a religious sect and an underground resistance. That's my 2 cents. Discuss.

    Actually, this has been discussed before and the fact that there was an actual society with the same name was said some time ago.

    Regardless, it's still something to discuss.

    There has been speculation about the White Lotus, more-so now than ever. I know for a fact that they'll be seen in the finale or close to it. That Pai Sho piece Sokka has will be the key to victory. That is assuming he hasn't lost it of course.

    lol! "Most Disappointing Subplot Ever." But I don't think Sokka would lose something like that, it's something given to him from his Master. I'm sure it's rolling around in his stylish green bag somewhere.

    I think the white lotus is a playwright group and iroh along with the cabbage man are the people that were giving information to them to make a play about the gaang. Obviously the Pai Sho piece is a backstage pass for the play in the Ember Island Players. Is this a good speculation?

    As funny as that is, you may have something there. Despite having already read some of the spoilers from Sozin's Comet (I couldn't resist), it's nice to think that the Ember Island Players are members of the White Lotus - going on the fact that the OWL is an underground resistance group . Thus, that would explain their information to create the play, though somewhat an inaccurate one...

    Im dissapointed with the white lotus story arc as of yet, and of the spoilers ive read of whats to come, I think its safe to say alot of people including myself will be dissapointed with their outcome. I just always thought they would have more of a significant role in the finale then whats been revealed.
