Just curious what you guys think about there being so few Avatar items and so many SpongeBob-related things to buy on Nick.com.
Thanks for your responses!

Hehe, I just picked the last option, because maybe they will take Avatar to a channel I get. (I don't recieve Nick, so it would be good if they put it on teletoon, I think that's the only cartoon channel I get) |
Mmmmmm (Homer Simpson voice) The Avatar Channel: Avatar--All Day, Every Day
Now THAT would be something! LOL

I know the feeling. In a sense we've already created an 'Avatar Channel' because those of us who don't own every DVD from Nick have every episode copied to DVD from the DVR and if not that, then saved onto the computer instead.
Now that's devotion my friend! lol

Well if I can keep the funds going and figure out how to do it I will make a winamp based Avatar TV network. I may only be able to let 50 people at a time view it due to cost, but I could start it. If I happen to do this, it would start on a Saturday morning and play all the Avatar episodes from episode 1 to the end of chapter 2 back to back all day long. |

Awesome! Do it, everyone would shower you with praise. I have a question though, I don't quite understand how your gonna broadcast it. Via internet or cable access? |

nick doesn't do nearly enough for the show in the advertising dept and are only now realizing that they need to tap into that. I can't blame them. with shows like sponge bob (which appeals to a much much larger and wider generational gap), thier stupid other teen shows, and their other pathetic attempts at making cartoons recently it is no wonder they had no faith in the show at first. They have done stuff right or at least are starting too. They did have the burgerking (or was it mcdonalds) toys for kids and they had a huge advertisement up for month for the season 2 finale. also the video game (not that impressive though since everything has a videogame; case in point the bugerking racing game...pointless). Now that the show is on daily and will be building an even bigger fan base we will see an increase in Aang's commercial appeal. |

Well yeah I hope they don't push them to. I think that Avatar is a really great show even if it stays on Nick, and Nick is just weird. Nick has two halves. The little cartoons and Teen Nick. Avatar is a great show indivually and I wouldn't care if there was an Avatar channel that had to show the same episodes all day. I would still watch it. |
