What happened with Iroh when he was in the spirit world? and why was he even there? maybe he tried to get his son back? How did he even get there? and how did he get back alive?

i think some of these questions will be answered during next episode. Zuko will go thru a spiritual crisis... i guess Iroh will do the same thing.

if u ask me, Iroh is someone with the most secrets in this entire story, and hes someone who's not against the avatar. Also hes the one who understands the need of balance in their world, including the 4 nations.??he has proven that already by watching Aang destroying the entire fleet in ''The siege of the North''. this means he is against the war also, cause the war would un-balance the world considering that the fire nation would grow to large and get to much power. it also means that he understands the need of an avatar, cause hes the one who can restore the balance in their world. im really curious when Iroh will accept this and helps Aang with his fire bending training.

    What happened... no ones knows

I think he went to the SW to see his son. There, he learned about the importance of balance.

nawh, Iroh is already enlightened. I don't think Iroh is going to go through a spiritual crisis, but I want to see him juggle a resturant and taking care of Zuko.

I think he went to the SW to 'hide' Ursa. It's kind of a weird theory, but it works. I don't have time to explain it all, but you could check 'Princess Ursa and the Order of the White Lotus' thread.
