i beleive that she was banashed and snuck off to a earth kingdom. Personly i would want to just camp out i frount of the gate waiting forthe firelordto acsept her! Why do i say earth kingdom?? Well the water tribes are to far from the firelord's palce and there are no more airbenders. So i think she is in a nice earth bending town like omashu or bossingsay or some where else. She was either banished or killed. so if you know the exact answer tell me. But i think what i wrote is posibly true.

No one knows for sure, and that includes the creators. They simply ran out of time in the season to explain it.

Yes we definitely should. By the way milo-oscar-guy, welcome to the forum. Now I'm not totally sure where Zuko's mom is. All we know from the show was that she was banished from the Fire Nation. She's probably somewhere in the Earth Kingdom where the show never visited because all 4 Air Temples and both Water Tribes were visited, and there was no sign of her.

It truly would not surprise me though if she was in or near Ba Sing Se, where a lot of other displaced people ended up.

It would be nice of Bryke to tie up their loose ends, Zuko's mom included. But I wouldn't be terribly displeased if they didn't at this point. It's assumed after Zuko goes to visit Ozai in prison that he goes off to look for her. I like the ambiguous ending. It gives Zuko's character arc a nice bookend.

I heard that they will mention some of it in the new series. I'm definitely thinking she's posing as an Earth Kingdom villager. I'm also forming a theory that we do even get a glimpse of her when the gaang are going through the different towns (even if it's just a quick background face). However, my theory could be easily thrown out the window because I'm sure someone could have found her by then and it would be all over the internet. Still...

Well as Ozai said to Zuko, she was banished from the Fire Nation. Although the possibility exists that she could had played an important role in some of the storyline without ever been shown. For example the Order of the White Lotus.

If you do own the forum, you should know it's "Ba Sin Se," not "Bos ing say." And also, this is a thread within a forum board. The forums are basically the discussion sections in each TV.com television website, which are the boards.

As a dyslexic, I usually make allowances for misspelled words. I do understand it's not always the writer's fault, especially in the case of the difficult spellings of Avatar universe words. But I have higher standards for one who claims to be the owner of this thread, and I would appreciate it if you would be so kind as to review the correct spellings of Avatar-related words.
