what happened to tei, the duke and haru??? did they stay at the western air temple
also, it seems like they dont care at all that their parents and friends are in jail....lol

They just went to the Fire Nation mainland to assist in what way they could and then probably went home or died during the invasion.
This ending is like Harry Potter. Every major or minor character save a few has showed up (A few didn't, like Chey), but you don't learn what becomes of each of them in a detailed or even explained manner. It's intentional, so they have plenty of opportunity to create other stories and branch out.
