Yeah, and CN has started to suck around 2004.

it was started to decline, but it was still cool, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0UNCTz1U2g, but it started go down hill in 2006 with that Fried Dynamite crap

I thought Fried Dynamite came last year. CN in 2006 was atleast decent. Since 07', that was when they started their descent. Though some shows do appeal to me on there now like Chowder and Total Drama Island.

I beg to differ. The real golden era was before Nicktoons, before 1989 when Nickelodeon used to import all of its cartoons from Europe (David the Gnome) and Japan (Li'l Bits, Noozles, Esteban and the Search for the Mysterious Cities of Gold, Belle & Sebastian, The Little Prince, Grimm's Fairy Tales, Maple Town, I could go on). They had this one really cool cartoon called Spartacus about a futuristic civilization that lived at the center of the earth and I don't know where it came from, but it was really cool. Oh, and these days, Fairly Odd Parents is still watchable to me.

David the Gnome, I think I remember that one. Is that the one with the gnome(David) who goes out and helps out animals in need(like a doctor) and helps protect the forest? I'll have to look it up.

Yep, that would be the one!

Just talking about this sh*t makes me feel way old... I'm sure many on the forum weren't born until after '89... and I've been watching the channel since it first came on the air in '81.

Dude, it happens to all the networks; I remember when MTV used to actually play music videos all the time, and when TVLand only played old shows (not these new reality-competition shows), and when Sci-Fi only showed sci-fi (now it shows horror too, and WRESTLING?!?!? OMG...) Anyway, CN is probably doomed to the same fate.

I think CN is slowly improving. They just need to get rid of all this live-action stuff like Out of Jimmy's Head(If it's still on there) Now they've been showing live-action movies. I can never imagine watching Jurassic Park on a channel like Cartoonetwork.

I don't think that's what he meant speech. He's referring to how the guy before him said he thinks all shows are ok, so therefore, that makes even the crappiest show to him, ok.

Uh, no offence, but I'm not a boy. I'm a girl. But, yeah, I just think that TV is TV. And it's just that Avatar, everyone's perfect show, is just... Avatar. Look, it's really hard to explain...
