    ok here is my scenario

towards the end of Season 2 Iroh and Zuko will resume Zuko's trainning. And he'll finally master bending Lighting and blue flames. Even though cleansing himself of the need to catch the Avatar helped him master the skill he still ends up trying to use the ability to catch Aang and offer him up to Azula so he can clear his name.

This angers Iroh, but Zuko wants to claim his destiny and let Iroh stay happy with his tea-shop.

Azula and Zuko meet up but its a trap she plans to kill Zuko and take credit for catching Aang herself. However when she tries to blast him he redirects her lighting and demonstrates lighting skills that equal hers.

Knowing that Lighting comes from inner peace. She reveals that she and Ozai were behind the dissaperence of their mother AND the death of Lu ten (Iroh son)...since of COURSE Iroh has been following this makes him enter the battle. Then Azula will kill him and get away. Zuko swears that he'll avenge Iroh's death and retake his destiny by becoming the Firelord himself.

Later Aang and his crew will be packing up to leave the Earth Kingdom and discussing how to find a firebending teacher...Sokka will make a dumb joke like "well we could always ask Zuko..or its not like one will just pop up"

then Zuko will come out of a shadow and offer to join their group

Everyone keeps saying that he will 'join the gang'. Although that is what the audience knows he should do - it is simply not a possibility with another 1 or 2 seasons to go. His pride of being a prince of the fire nation will not allow him to join the gang, but that does not mean they will not become friends. In the end, Zuko will defeat his father with the help of Aang and rule the fire nation. Holla

The coming out of the shadows thing is more a Jet thing to do.

I think Zuko releasing Appa was a BIG moment in Zuko's turning point. Then to follow it up he ditches the blue spirit mask. Next he is going to become deathly ill inside or something in Earth King. When he finally recovers he will have learned to deal with his hard life and will have found his inner peace. He will quickly become a master at lightning and blue flame. He will join the GAang because he realizes how betrayed he has been in his life by the FN. He will see the happiness in Ba Sing Se and want to protect it. He will teach Aang Firebending.

That's exactly what I think too. Appa can't possibly hold more people.

Appa is a big flying Bison, I think he can hold quite a bit.

    My thoughts...

On one hand, Zuko joining the party is something that has been expected and teased for the longest time, and would complete the elemental balance within the Avatar's party. I just think it would be pretty odd for Zuko to interact with the others; it would be incredibly awkward to say the least, and I can't see the often intense or morose Zuko playing around with the goofy Avatar crew. This is nothing that good writing wouldn't be able to pull off though.

On the other hand, seeing how Zuko has acted through the whole series, I cannot see him joining Aang. He will continue to act on his own, alongside or parallel to the Avatar's crew, but probably never really join them. He will probably follow Aang back into the Fire Nation, his real intentions unknown until push comes to shove.

I do believe that Zuko cannot be Aang's firebending teacher, since he himself is still a student in many ways. And doesn't that contradict how Jeong-Jeong was actually told by Avatar Roku to teach Aang? Either Iroh or JJ will be Aang's firebending teacher, but not Zuko.

Zuko is going to join the gang because Iroh is teaching Zuko a newer way of thinking.?? He is teaching him honor and respect.?? Think about the many instances that Iroh has influenced Zuko.?? Here are some examples:?? Zuko's interuption in the war room because he cared about the new division being slaughtered.?? Zuko saving one of his crew in the episode, "The Storm."?? Zuko dating a girl in Ba Sing Se and making it romantic.?? He is maintaining control of himself.??

    Here is what I think:
Zuko and Iroh will train Aang.?? Zuko will give him the fire bending and Iroh will give the lightening.?? Then Zuko will fight Azula.?? While Aang will take on the Fire Lord during the Eclipse.?? Azula will probably beat Zuko and that will become Season 4.?? The fight against Azula for the control over the fire kingdom.

Actually I predicted that the blind bandit episode was going to be wrestling spoof right before it aired because of it's discription.?? (Though I was wrong about it being staged like the WWF)

Yes, that maybe true but did you predict that there would be a wrestling spoof episode way before you know the name of the episode? What I'm really saying is the creators could go anyway and it's just sort of useless for us to geuss about it. The show is so...I can't even describe it but they could go the predictable way (which I call Zuko joining Aang and the gang, come on if there are like a billion different threads about it then that's predictable) or the unpredictalbe way (which...is unpredictable). OR!!! they could go the unpredictably predictable way where people think that because Zuko joining the gang is predictable it makes it unpredictable because avatar is an unpredictable show! Point is, we don't know, I'm just so sick of reading this thread.

*and please don't tell me, well if you don't like it don't read it, 'cause I could say the same to you, if you don't like what I'm saying, don't read it. Just covering all the bases people get so upset over a disagreement to a thread (or at least the people I've ran into) I get upset because??PEOPLE GET UPSET!

However you slice it Zuko is just a few episodes away from completely becoming a good guy (actually it was envitable from the moment Azula came into the picture and made him a fugitive)
but he's still got alot of pride one more piece of the puzzle needs to fall into place for him to become tottally good...and a good enough Firebender to help Aang

...and if Zuko doesn't do it who will practically every other dude in the Fire Nation wants Aang dead

After seeing Lake Laogai there is NO WAY Iroh will teach Zuko how to master firebending within the last episodes of this season. And another reason why it's impossible because Zuko won't do firebending (with the exception of his date of course) in BSS. Remember how mad he got when uncle just heated up his tea? And don't forget that these two are starting a new life. There's no way they will throw that away by using firebending.

Anyway, this is what I think will happen. Since Long Feng was throw into the lake with the Blue Spirit's mask, he will find it and then suddenly have a flashback about what Jet said about Iroh and Zuko being firebenders. He will do some investigation with his command over the Dai Li and they will soon find out who they really are. I predict that one of the agents or maybe even LF himself will recognize the Dragon Of The West and this will lead to big events that will make Zuko and Iroh flee BSS. That's all I got on that now and knowing how this show is too unpredictable, I'm probably completely wrong. lol

I hope he joins them. I honestly think he will. In the last ep. he decided to 'do the right thing' and he throws away the Mask. ((A sad thing for we who thought the Blue Spirit was cool.)) And what could be more 'right' than helping Aang? He won't just walk into their camp one morning and say he wants to join, mind you. But it'll be one of those slow things that you don't notice until it actually happens.
