    At the end of the episode, Sokka mentions in passing to Katara "that kid sure is one powerful bender". She stares at him and replies, "Yes, I guess he... is."

    Uh Zuko and Haru weren't that powerful. Zuko might become better once his "inner turmoil" is sorted out, but Haru wasn't that amazing. Toph, the Dia-Lee, and Bumi are better than Haru.

    Yes, but Toph, the Dai Lee, and Bumi aren't potential love interests for Katara. Haru is.

    But to be honest, IMHO the whole "you will marry a powerful bender" thing was probably just thrown in there so she would start to develop feelings for Aang more than just friendly feelings. Whatever, it can be interpreted in a billion different ways, I just thought I'd contribute my two cents.

    Seriously people, Haru was simply an Earthbender; just being an Earthbender doesn't mean you're strong. He barely Earthbended anyway.
    Zuko may be strong, but his skill is more in striking when someone is weak, like Zhao with his temper or when Katara had her back turned. Zuko is not nearly as strong as his sister, uncle, or even Aang. Just cause Zuko is a prince and nephew to "The Dragon of the West" and brother to the sadistic blue foire wielding princess, doesn't meanhe himself is powerful.
    Aang is obviously strong. A master Airbender at the age of 12 and even amanged to Waterbend when (the supposed prodigy) Katara took two months to push and pull water. Obviously, Aang is the most powerful.

    Sadistic blue foire wielding princess, nice discription. Zuko is probable a powerful bender, but his banishment and anger where holding him back. Also, his determination is a factor.
