Actually, if "season 4" was referring to a whole new spin-off of Avatar, then very good chance. But not until after the Shyamalan movies. We will probably see Avatar again in the future. But it won't be the gaang. Probably not, anyway. |

It could be taking place in our time right now. The Avatar world is different from ours. It could be taking place in the future or the past as well. We can't tell. |

Well, I ment, as in, this part of the world, you know! With school, ipods, tv, but yet, takes bednign to a new direction! |
i would LOVE a 4th season... but only if Bryke planned the series out to HAVE a 4th season, they didn't. So it won't happen and i don't want it too.
i'm all for a spin off series though as long as they have an awesome idea for it

1. They have planned the ENTIRE series from the beginning. There were no sudden plot changes. In fact, the only major change was the switching of Toph's gender. Why would they change their minds now? I'm sure Nick has been riding on them to change other things in the series and they've resisted. Bryke is famous for sticking to their word. It's a one in a million chance they'll change their minds.
2. THE SEASON WOULD BE AN EPIC FAIL! Too, too many TV shows have been ruined my being prolonged. Spongebob (don't hate), Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Naruto among others have been utterly demolished by plot extensions. I refuse to let ATLA be ruined too. Okay, so the Ursa question could be answered. Whoop, that's one episode. What will the next 19 be about? You can't just have a random plot. There's got to be some goal of the new season. The previous seasons were because Aang had to learn that element, but why make the next season? What's the point? Answering one question doesn't call for an entire season. That's what the mini-episodes are for.
Please think about what you wish for or it might just come true. Prolonging Avatar would ruin it. Just wait for the movies and the possible new series and/or mini-episodes. |

It would be a whole different show. The whole point is that it's in an alternate universe. If it took place here it wouldn't even BE here because so many things would be different. I'm sure we wouldn't need to be as technologically advanced if we had bending, just as the wizard community in HP didn't need technology because of their magic. The series would never take place in a setting similar to ours. |

Off topic-ish, but I will argue you about the extension of Naruto. I think Naruto would have SUCKED without the time-skip. IMO, time-skip was needed for character devolpment and, well, ending the series XD But the 100 fillers in between Naruto and Shippuden (anime time-skip) was pretty unneccessary (well neccessary for money and some character airtime) |

that was a sarcastic answer. but still Anything is possible. |

Honestly, I don't watch Naruto so I wouldn't known. I'm just using what people have told me about the show
Oh, it was sarcasm? But, honestly, even if it WAS likely I wouldn't want it to happen. I've listed why above. |

I hope that doesn't happen, and not just because I don't want to be proved wrong. Just think about a 4th season and what it would do to the series. I want you to list me 5 episode ideas that actually have plot and aren't filler that could be used in the 4th season. |

You can't have a whole episode based on, "He really told you?" Why would there be a riot? It was expressed in the finale there would be "an era of peace". Riots aren't exactly peaceful. Even though that is a good idea, I must admit, it would be adding a plot line, not contributing to the old one, which is exactly what the other episodes I listed before did. |

ROFL, nice wording. But that episode would have to have SOME mini plot. You can't just have a whole episode dedicated to searching. There would just be too much filler. If there was a way to add on to the old plot (which there isn't because it's sealed tight) I would agree on a season 4. However, there isn't, and the only way is to add a NEW plot. So, if we're adding a new plot anyway, why not make new characters? At least, that's what Bryke thinks. |
