    1. There have always been 4 air temples.

    2. people have known this since near the begining

    3. the northern one was 'invaded' by earth kingdom civilians, so it shows up??as part of the EK??on the map.

    4. there would be no airbendenders in the western air temple, especially as it is the closest to the fire nation

All the temples were invaded by the firenation and most airbenders were anihalated.?? But by the tcg is seems that the western airtemple is haunted which might be the tcg character malu and the reason for the title the painted lady ep.

Aang was suposed to be sent to the eastern air temple before the war and when he goes to it in the guru there isn't a single sign of a struggle or corpse anywhere.

In the southern air temple aang said the only way to get to a temple was by a flying bisine, but the firenation, earth civilians, and the guru seemed to get to the temples fine.

Some of the faces koh has are grey which means they are airbenders.

Wait, I just realized something. Remember on the episode, "The Waterbending Scroll", when Aang used up the last of their money to buy a Flying Bison whistle? HOW THE HECK DID THE PERSON HE BOUGHT IT FROM GET A FLYING BISON WHISTLE?!

Only the Air nomads actually use the Flying bisons, so only they would be able to have and make flying bison whistles. Could the merchant that Aang got the flying bison whistle from have known the airbenders at one time?

I don't think it was a normal whistle Long Feng had.?? It sounded hoarse like the bison whistle.?? All logic aside, I'm seriously angry at Long Feng for doing that.?? Note to self: if a fictional character reminds you of either Hitler Stalin, or anyone else, he is most likely not on the good side.

    Odd things you notice-

Ba Sing Se seemed to be based off of George Orwell's book 1984: Big Brother Is Watching

YES!!!?? That is EXACTLY what I mean!?? In fact, Avatar is the only reason I managed to stay awake during a whole month of learning about communist Russia... *eyetwitch* I wanted to see connections... I guess my obsession works to my advantage in Social Studies.

I noticed something in The Avatar State episode. I don't know if it has already been said in this thread or not. But when Azula and Zuko fight, Azula clearly scratches Zuko leaving three marks on his forehead. As soon as it cuts away to Azula, then back to Zuko, Zuko doesn't have the scratches any more.

Another odd thing, Zuko seems to be an incarnation of Kuzon. Like Azulon and Azula. Perhaps Kuzon was a member of the royal family. I think it will be interesting when we learn more about him in the next season.
