    i have a question based on the 306 episode when avatar roku showed his past to aang.....

    isnt it that the start of life is made when two couples finished having sex and sperm cell and egg cell meet...?!?

    then why does the new avatar showed up as a baby.....?? it should have been showed up when aang's parents finished sex....

    I think that was a fast-forward to nine months later.

    You see, Aang's parents, whoever they were, got off on volcano erruptions (given everything in the AtLA world, is that so hard to believe?). Thus, couldn't resist their urges when one errupted that was so strong, it trumped Roku and Sozin. Nine months later, Aang was born.

    Because Aang was going to be born anyway. Roku died and the Avatar spirit went into newborn Aang. Unless I'm doing it wrong, Aang wasn't the Avatar from the time of his conception until his birth.

    I don't think the Avatar spirit can go into sperm/eggs, the time when the cells are dividing which is a word that is excaping me right now, embryoes and fetuses. :B

    I'm not sure about that. But it makes sense, I suppose.
