Starreh Vs. The Serpent's Pass.
It is night, the cool breeze drug in from the immense lake lulls about creating a calming context.
The Serpent's Pass, a long and winding path of rock and rubble that had shot up from the earth centuries ago, stands high and proud, looking out onto the world.
Of all the years spent on this earth it has still learned nothing, the fear that looms over on it only gives it more to boast about... It believes that it is the true king of the world, and nothing can defeat it's mighty armor of boulder and mountainess peaks. It is unstoppable.
"Gosh," He begins, "I sure am better then Starreh. And can play guitar like, 100 times better."
"Everyone can play guitar, or they can atleast play Iron man badly, and claim they can play guitar," comes a bold, and strangley arousing voice.
"Who's there?!" bellows the mighty path.
"Who else could it be?" Says the calm and collected voice.
The fog clears. There, illuminated by the moonlight, stands the greatest creature known to man. Starreh.
"Foolish child!" barks the serpents pass, "I thought I killed you once and for all on the night of the never ending falling stars."
"You are the foolish one," Starreh says.
"Nothing can kill me."
And in one quick and graceful movement, starreh's eyes begin to glow. Soon, a blinding crimson light shoots from them. Lazer beams, one of Starreh's many forceful and deadly attacks.
The lazer was so intense it splits the pass in two, causing it to explode upon itself. Starreh quickly and calmly creates a forcefield and averts the blow with much ease.
The dust settles, and the saddistic, disgusting, lowly serpant's pass had finally been brought to it's knees. The terror is over.
"Guess that'll teach him not to touch my fig newtons when I go to get booze and "lady" magazines."
"Starreh, Starreh!" comes a voice, it's Jimbleton, a young admirer of Starreh. Along with him comes the entire town that lives near by, whom had been puppets to the Pass for their entire lives. "Starreh, you saved us! You're the greatest person to ever live!" He said, running twoard our hero.
"Haha, is that so?" Starreh says with a hearty laugh that is known to cure AIDS.
"Starreh, I want to be just like you!" Jimbleton exclaims, his eyes sparkling like fireflies on various gateway drugs. They're not into the heavy sh*t yet. "I want to travel the world with you!"
"In time, kid. But for right now, you need to stay with your mother. The world is a dangerous place for a kid... Trust me, it's better you stay here."
"But--"
"No buts! What I want is what's best for you, Jimbleton. but I have to move on," Starreh says, walking slowly into the distance. Jimbleton looked down, he knew starreh was right, but he hated to admit it. A small tear forms in his eye, his lifetime hero and idol had just shot him down. He knows he's young, but he knows he's ready. He'd do anything for Starreh.
"Hey kid?" Came that calming voice. Jimbleton looks up.
"Catch," Starreh says, tossing him an amulet.
"If you're ever lost, just look into that amulet. It has a picture of me fighting a bear while intoxicated."
"Wow," He said, looking into the amulet with wonder in his eyes.
"Starreh I--"
"You don't have to say anything, kid." Starreh says, looking at him with determination. He looks up, and their eyes meet. A chill runs down his spine, but somehow he feels safe. He smiles.
"Thanks."
END.
