    lol. the firebender looks like Azula, the waterbender as Kataras master and air looks like aang's maste. But the earth one looks just like a regular earth kindom soldier.

    the waterbender is master Pakku

    the airbender is Monk Gyatso

    the firebender is Azula

    and the earthbender is the??original form of Toph (before they decided she was going to be a girl)

    Well if the airbender was aangs master, the earthbender the male toph and the waterbender is master paku well that means that the benders in the intro are supposed to be the teachers of Aang but that also means that azula is one of them???? Maybe they changed that idea or maybe azula puts aside here well here entire personality
    Don't see it happening but if all those benders represent Aangs teachers then there is no other way right???

    i don't think they are his teachers after all it was katara that completed aang's training. And as things currently are i really can't see azula teching aang (imo iroh wouuld be the best teacher, who better than the dragon of the west)

    if you have seen the clothes of the airbender is aang because the clothes are the same as hims(or he could be any airbender of the past).

    More proof it isn't Aang?

    look at his pants...they go all the way down to his ankles...while Aang's stop at his knees...and don't say its a redesign cuz the length of Aang's pants has stayed the same since the pilot episode(the one BEFORE the show premier)??

    the earth person is the boulder, but his top part isn't proportioned correctly

    the fire person is azula

    the air person is unknown. if u look carefully, u can see a somewhat pointy beard...

    The Earthbender IS NOT the Boulder...he's the early incarnation of Toph...Toph was originally going to be??a male??but they made some changes going into the second season, like Azula bending blue fire...

    i think the earth one looks like the boulder from the episode where aang convinces toph to be his eartbending teacher

    i agree. iroh would make a funny teacher. especially seeing zuko's reaction to his uncle teaching the one person who could have made his life normal again. it would be hysterical!!

    I think what they did was use the earthbending guy in the beginning as Toph's early sketch, but changed it.Then they bulked the sketch up, and ta daa. You have yourself the Boulder. So MAYBE everyone's right.

    of course theres other airbenders. they are too smart and powerful to be completly destroyed ive always figured that the airbenders just became nomads. theyre even called air naomads on wikipedia i think. many of them were killed off but i believe when the final war comes to pass against the fire nation the air benders will come out of hiding and help out to defeat the fire lord. and yeah i think guru is an air bender itd be easy enough to hide your bending abilities.
