It's obvious that when Aang and co. face Ozai that it will happen again.

I will tell you one thing that surely everyone would agree on is that they dont do this type of thing to obiliterate all enemies like say Power Rangers did.

I'm pretty sure it will when they fight Fire Lord Ozai but other than that i hope it doesnt. it would get very repetitive

Yeah it'll probably be used against Ozai, or maybe even in this season's finale. Whenever they need to make it grand. I wonder how Azula is blocking all those attacks with a spinning ball of fire.

Has anyone noticed that they are in the same order as the avatar cycle?

Yes, but I don't think it was in this thread. It may have been in this episode's discussion thread, but I do not remember for sure.

I wonder if the order was significant to the explosive reaction or if it was just that they all came together and the order didn't matter.

When my me and my Dad, who sorta likes Avatar (hey, grown-ups need the love too) watched 'The Chase,' he thought Azula was killed in that fight scene with the explosion. I told him she escaped, but I don't see how anyone could escape that and not be seen.

Azula must be some strong witch to escape that powerful attack, she probably had to escape because her shield was weakening

By all means she didn't die. For all we know Ozai is on vacation since all we see is Azula doing the job while he sits on his... so he can yell/banish others for their failures. Personally I am beginning to believe most of the success from the Fire Nation is contributed by the generals' efforts. He must kick his prowess up a notch at the end of this season to set up the fire book.

Go figure that air is the last book. That in itself should be forecasting airbenders are alive to save the day. Or so I hope since airbenders are the best.

?? I assumed she made a sort of energy shield out of lightning. That makes more sense to me: air, water, earth, fire, (and boomerang) vs. lightning.

Jeong Jeong did the same thing at the end of the deserter .... only he did it with regular flames and it was against other firebenders not all the elements.

    Here's a transcript quote from Avatarspirit.net.

(Cut to overhead shot of Jeong Jeong surrounded by five of Jeong Jeong???s spearmen. Aang tops short in horror as they close in. Jeong Jeong smiles and wraps himself in a massive bal of flame. When it dissipates, he is gone.)

Zhao (angrily): It???s a trick! He???s run off into the woods. Find him! (Turning to Aang.) Let???s find out what my old master has taught you.

shouldn't lighting seperated the water particles..or is it da other way around

sand verses lighting woouldnt really even be a match

air verses lighting...maybe aang minimized the shield and moved it closer to azula

fire against lighning....im not sure, but if the other guys bendings on Azula didn't work probably Zukos wuldnt either since lighning/blue fire is more "strong" than normal fire

and Sokkas Boomerang probably just made a LITTLE hole in Azula shield, which 2 seconds later filled up again

Two things need to be understood:

1.That ball of energy is a fire shield Azula made, the actual attack was the explosion

2.Sokka's boomerang did nothing because Aang's air blast nocked it up before it could make contact.
