Ok I have no real idea of how the season is going to play out but I have a few ideas from some scenes/general plot??that I think will happen.

General plot- 1st few episodes, Iroh teaches Aang and Zuko the higher forms of firebending (since Zuko is calmer and can do them now). Katara and Aang get together (finally!!!). I know people are Zutara fans, but this is just my ideas. There is too much pain between Katara and Zuko to work. Eventually, the solar eclipse is coming and they (troops: both earth, water, and the gang) move into position. There will probably be a "night before" episode where it goes through everyone's preperations for the invasion the next day. During the invasion the newest firebending menace from season 3 (Zhao was season 1, Azula was season 2) captures Katara. Aang looses it, but she is gone. The gang gets desperate, but they are still too far from the capital to get there in time. How are they going to get there? Appa will get shot down, no matter how high he is, and they are not going to be fast enough or sneaky enough to get there in time. How will they do it?

Well Ozai did say that if Zuko captured the Avatar, that he would be welcomed back. So Zuko gets his place as heir to the throne and while they are talking to the fire lord, the gang breaks out Katara. Ozai holds Aang in custody until the summer solstice. Somehow, he figured out the secret to killing the avatar (kill him while he is in the avatar state) and plans to do so with the comet's power. He and Aang fight for a huge amount of time, but he never goes into the avatar state, and the comet is still giving Ozai power. Aang gets tired, makes a mistake and looses, but since he is still not in the avatar state, Ozai doesn't kill him. What is going to happen now?

Zuko challenges Ozai to an Agni-Kai (firebender duel) for THE THRONE. They battle for forever and Zuko wins, but Ozai pulls a dirty trick and blasts Zuko unconscious. He doesn't notice that the comet has just gone or that Aang just woke up in time to see Ozai pull the trick. Aang goes all Avatar on Ozai, Ozai mutters 'finally,' but then looks up to see that the comet is gone. Aang turns him into a big greasy spot and Zuko takes the throne.

Zuko is the fire lord, Aang and Katara are together, and Iroh has his tea shop in Ba Sing Se. Everyone turns out happy. The end. Except Sokka.

One scene I would like to see:

Zuko walks into the fire lord's throne room dragging a chained, hooded, and unconscious prisoner. Ozai says, "I remember saying that you were not welcome here until you had brought me the avatar. I remember saying that you were banished and your honor was no more."

Zuko replies, "Well, it's good that I brought you the avatar isn't it?" He pulls the hood off Aang. Then he drops Aang to the floor and says, "I want my honor, my dignity, my home, and my place on the throne back."

This is my humble idea(don't kill me).

Zuko defeats Azula and kills her in the season 2 finally. Then he joins the gang and teaches Aang basic firebending. He earns there complete trust and respect as a powerful friend. They travel together and have many adventures. The day of the invasion finaly draws near and everything is working perfectly. As they near the fire nation cost Katara falls over the side of the ship and is captured. Aang then suffers a nervous breakdown leaving him helpless. Zuko then betrays the gang and takes Aang to his father, were he is excepted as the rightful son of the firelord.

What are the creators going to do for a side story???

The entire series so far has had two stories for most of the episodes: we see what happens to Aang and Zuko separately.??

IF Zuko joins Aang, the creators will have 20 whole episodes of just one storyline... defeat the Fire Lord before the comet.

As someone??previously posted, I would love to see that Zuko scene too, where he delivers Aang to his father.?? I speculate that Zuko WILL join Aang, teach him?? firebending, promise to??fight the Fire Lord, and then at the last minute betray Aang and deliver him to his father and demand, not ask, but demand his honor back.?? Zuko reminds me of Worf from Star Trek: torn between two cultures, trying to satisfy them both and his own soul.?? The creators have truly done a beautiful job with Zuko.

When Souzin's comet comes by, how do you think firebenders' power will be amplified? Will it be a boost like an extra length on the flames or will it be like Aang's form at the North Pole when he merged with the ocean? Will it be spread out, giving all firebenders extra power, or will it be focused like going just to the fire lord himself?
