    I might be a little late on this subject but if the voice of Iroh is dead how is he going to be in season 3? I mean you could always find another actor to play him but i'm not sure there is an actor who can bring what he brought to uncle Iroh. Again, if this has been said before I'm sorry. I haven't been on TV forums in awhile.

    As long as he sounds wise and thoughtful(also funny) then I don't really care what he sounds like.

    Unless it's a little kid's voice.

    I think the new voice actor for Iroh was someone who studied under Mako in a show they did together in the 70s or something.

    Actually in the episode "tales of ba sing sei"(spl.?) there are a few scenes where Iroh's voice isn't Mako,but the guy who's going to 'replace' him. i heard it was Mako's understudy in some Broadway play.

    its really sad that he died, he was such an amazing actor with a really distinctive and unique voice, hope the new guy can get somewhat close.

    Yep it is. And they already had him in a few parts. I didn't even notice the change, so no harm done. Besides, if they think its ruining the show they will, sadly, kill Iroh off.

    All this information seems like three-month old news to me. Sorry, but I found out all this information the day Tales of Ba Sing Se aired.

    Same here, its been said about a million times by now. I guess some people just don't feel like searching around for threads, then again there is the directory.
