So did this chick's (I hope to God it was a female) cosplay look good, or was she on there simply because she did not look good?
I recognized her as Ty-Lee. The costume and hair looked fine but I dont know anything about cosplaying so my opinions worthless.

    *reads information*

    *eyes bug out*

Well... I don't know what to think. This is advertizing, but it sounds like it could be advertizing a false opinion of Avatar. I swear it was already difficult enough to explain to viewers that Avatar is not from Japan - not anime, and now it will doubtless be even harder to do so.

Still, it also sounds like it just might be funny enough to make up for it.

Honestly, I don't care if it's false advertising. We need something now that the series is over. If The Tonight Show wants to portray Avatar in a slightly twisted way, so be it. I'd be happy for anything right now. But, of course, that's just my opinion.

I concur. Anything that would cause people to broach the topic of Avatar with me would be a positive.

I see where you're coming from. You're coming from the "I don't care what you write about me - just spell my name right" angle, amirite?

Ahahaha, kind of. I can recognize that Avatar needs publicity now more then ever. Nickelodeon/Bryke needs encouragement to make a new series. This sort of thing, this major TV show hosting Avatar as a topic, is the type of advertising we need. It'll help convince Bryke to continue with the series.

Was it the same person who was in the picture of tv.com's coverage of the comic-con?

I don't care what what people think of the show until I see this. If it was good dancing, I don't think people are going to scrutinize it. *waits for video*

QFT. I can take some painful jabs from critics if it helps the future of Avatar.

I think that is the Ty Lee cosplayer dancing. Well, it's from Comic Con 2008 at least.

*Hides face in shame* OH MY GOD.
    1. THAT WOMAN NEEDS TO WEAR A BRA!
    2. How do I say this? That song has nothing to do with Avatar in any way, shape or form.
    3. Why did Jay Leno even think of putting that on his show? It, as I said before, has nothing to do with Avatar.
    4. As much as it pains me, I'm happy this made the air. This might spark some people's interest and maybe lead them to check the show out. Whether to laguh at us or something else, it doesn't matter. It might actually draw them into the show.
    5. Thank God that wasn't the only reference to Avatar on the show, though.
