I wish there was more focus on Master Yu and Xin Fu hunting down Toph...They've only appeared in "The Desert" and didn't even see Toph...I think a Toph vs. Yu and Xin Fu would make for an awesome season finale battle...

Do you think we'll here from them again before Book 2's end?

Yeah, I thought we would have seen them a little more by now, but I would be very surprised if Toph does not run into them by the end of the season.

I thought we were going to see them in SotFN and when we didn't, I thought they were going to be in "Tales from Ba Sing Se", and when they weren't, I thought they were going to bein "Appa's Lost Days" somehow or another. Now i'm thinking they won't appear until third season.

They're gonna show up. They've put them into "...previously on Avatar..." thingy so they'll have to make some kind of hindrance the the gaang, which they haven't so they'll have to come back.
Unless they count the part where they were about to capture Zuko or Iroh. If they count that then that's totally dumb.

I thought they would be like a Zuko and following them and seeing them every few episodes, but we haven't seen them at all after that episode. I do think they will show up soon or in the fanally. Does anyone know what episode is the fanally of earth?

The Season two finale in on Friday December 1 it's the episodes "The Guru" and "The Crossroads of Destiny" it's an hour long. The one next Friday is "The Earth King"

i think they'll probably come in when Zuko ambushes the gang yet again and they say something corny like, "Double the prize!" of course they get their asses whooped.

I see the "kidnapping" subplot may become a larger plot during the third season given that Aang is gonna have to find a way to learn Firebending and that'll leave plenty of room for Toph's little plot. But still, we do have three episodes left before Avatar goes into its hibernation cycle and graces us with its sporadic airings new episodes, so they may show up, possible. Not to sound mean or anything, but I don't think twenty episodes a season actually cuts it for these type of subplots.

I would bet a large sum that it's gonna be done by the end of the season. Avatar closed a lot of continuing plot archs in the previous finales.

A lot of sub-plots have already taken a while to show. Aang and Zuko's past. The whole story/subplot concerning the comet, Appa's losingness and findingness. Jet and Suki returning. Getting to stupid Ba Sing Se. Its going to come eventually, this is a test of a retarded thing called patience.
